this is why you can’t trust anything anymore. people are willing to do anything for attention and it’s making it impossible to know if someone would have been in serious danger or not.
Ngl, when he described the fake kidnapping I was expecting an ARG/Unfiction project (before he got to when he described what was actually going on), probably just me being dumb.
Every time I hear stuff like this it blows my mind how some one can have this thought process and think this is a good idea. They obviously use social media you'd think they knew what would happen but I guess that clout be making kids unwise.

I remember just a few weeks ago a girl at my school said that she got kidnapped and barely managed to get out of their car. A couple days later they found out she faked it. I’ve never been more disappointed in someone at my school
Truly disgusting, that some "people" would do this horrible thing
Jschlatt - 2021
I will always find irony in these situations and people. The fact they can berate and insult people in this manner knowing full well they're lieing.
And then they try and always blame it on the police. "They aren't doing enough!"
Some people do claim to be trans just so they can mess with you and feel special and get special treatment from you and that's sad and harmful for the actual people that are trans.
How about not looking on twatter and assuming someone's telling the truth there? If she was kidnapped she'd contact the police, not post on twatter.
The moment the "kidnapped" girl went to social media for help instead of contacting a friend or family member (specially if you concider that sending a video can take time and maybe fail and the kidnapper could come in any second) is when you should stop and doubt.
First the guy who died from a prank and now this? What has this world come to.
This is so damaging to the internet as whole in the long run, what I’m concern is that these clout chasers may inadvertently cause more doubt on people who actually have these happened to them.
so many other people kidnapped and missing but they got hella people worrying over one
Optimus cranking these videos out like I crank 90s in Destiny 2

And I thought my hope for humanity couldnt get any lower..
It can ALWAYS get lower, just like the lengths people will go for clout.
There is no hope for humanity anymore 🤣 not at this rate
The fact that I'm not surprised is a problem

Always!!

"Defund the police!" Oh no! A black trans person has been kidnapped!? "Why aren't the cops with their reduced budgets and longer hours responding quicker!? Put more pressure on them!" I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad
Bro i actually don’t get what’s up with people nowadays
