Giving the best units of Western Roman Empire 3 gold chevrons and golden armor and weapon and fighting vs a single similarly sized barbarian army isn't very impressive. I'll be impressed when you fight 4 large enemy stacks with (1:3 or 1:4 situation) numerically and qualitatively inferior army.
Rome 1 + RR have the best generals speeches closely followed by Med 2 !
