23:28 Boy, oh boy. Where do I even begin... daddy stankovic, honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies' eyes. Your silky smooth touch around net, and that gorgeous face. I would do anything for you just so I would never have to watch you retire. you have you changed the game of volleyball and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. Now, you're getting older. Yet, you are still the GOAT. My GOAT. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, daddy stankovic
Last season Arkas three donged Ziraat and really challenged Halkbank (with Nimir) only to lose in tie break (it also went to 20+ points). Of course Efe Mandıracı, Grözer and Burutay Subaşı played a great role in those matches. Now Arkas three donging Halkbank without Efe is very interesting.
Hope Sani chooses to play for 🇺🇸 over 🇮🇹 cause we have too much young talents every year and if it won't be the case (as it's likely) he will end in the shadow of Michieletto,Lavia,Porro,Bottolo,Gardini,Recine and this list keep updating every year 😂
Perugia roster is great but it seems to me they now lacking power without Leon. I know he didn't play too much last season, but even in the bench was always dangerous and the Scudetto final vs Monza is the demonstration. I don't know if Ishikawa has the same ability to change a match which is not going well.
@@andreacarbonari leon was a horrible passer, nor could he change games the way you make it out to be lmao. Ishikawa is simply a more technical and superior outside right now and while he may not fit the perugia game so far he eventually will. "he doesn't have the ability to change games" is the dumbest statement I've ever read lmao .as a milano fan I still vividly remember the Yuki Ishikawa of the playoffs and how ridiculously clutch he was. and let's not even talk about national team games.
@@Ilias-vg1jw The japanese is very good but he is a little "bottler" and for example againsta Italy he demonstrated it. Listen, I hope Perugia will win Champions, but I doubt they are prepared with this roster.

23:28 It must have been some great coaching from Daddy that Zawiercie got the victory

Hey guys, awesome podcast as always. I do have a question, why you never talk about the Russian league a bit? Thanks!

Bottom line is, they need to rely more on the full roster this them.
@@MarxZeff but I think only Herrera has certain skills to change a difficult game, but he is not Leon..

@@Ilias-vg1jw yeah let's not talk about the biggest choke in Olympics history. 1 point away from a semis match but Ishikawa couldn't score
