Even though she was very lucky if you look at the individual jury members. They voted completely different so Anxhela came out on top despite not being any persons nr 1. But still...
Just because they gave 12 points to Albania? Malta voted strategically, they didn't send any high point to the potential winners.

it's a typical Balkans ballad. That's why it did only well in Eastern Europe. The result was predictable and I was even surprised that she qualified for the final. Great voice tho

More impressed how a professional jury didn’t give her more points, one of strongest voices and an amazing performance in my opinion, can understand public televote but a professional jury to give almost 0 points to this is not so normal. Good luck anyway to all countries I still think is a very entertaining show in this difficult times. ❤️

I was at the Eurovision final two years ago and I can still remember how this performance blew me away. I was just amazed at how much power this whole performance had and that she owned the stage like she was a goddess!! She deserved top 10 at least

I am Serbian and I voted for this. It was simply perfect. The staging was outstanding, the song powerful and nice, sung in the language of the country, she looked and moved like a diva - simply perfect! She was robbed this year, she deserved a much better placement.

she was awesome on that stage, i can't understand anything she's singing but it's a gorgeus song. she was my favorite this year
I was worried about her chances in the semi final. Sooooo happy she made through. I love her voice and the fact she was singing in her language. It makes ESC more special.

she didn't even qualify at the top 10 with this powerful song... so another year that proves that singing in the mother language, having folklore and traditional style means nothing for albania because Europe don't actually care enough to vote. so don't judge the following years if albania sings in english and doesn't follow the traditional style. she was robbed.

@@eljox Yeah but it's surprising because she placed 16th in the televotes despite of the low score, higher than some of the fan favorites like Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and San Marino. I already expected that the three countries I mentioned will have atleast a 100 points from televote but it didn't happen.

You can see that she watched her performance on the semi and deliberately corrected all the errors. That's what you call an artist. The result is breathtaking.
