Wow, 15 yrs. old and already mastered one of the hardest male solos. It would be a new concept and historic to see a very young dancer like Joao take on the lead role as Romeo (Romeo is 16 yrs. old) in Romeo and Juliet in a professional ballet company next year. He already has the technique, innocence and that care free attitude to play the role. But some might say the role would be too hard for him to dance the ballet from beginning to end because of his age.
