To be honest i m not sure about that. RaRa is a rock solid WR who had a real gunslinger as QB at Miss. State in Will Rogers. UGA has no Will Rogers by any means. And RaRa needs deep balls to shine ! Wish him all the best on his new school ! Hail State from Berlin, Germany !

CJ Allen is that guy that people are gonna look at in a few years and say that was maybe the most important signee in the 2023 class and I think that that will be so because he's first of all an absolute freak athlete at the ILB position but he's wanted nothing but to be a Georgia Bulldog his entire life and that love for the brand is gonna rub off on a roster that has tons of out of state kids (Young men pardon me) on it and it'll be vital in continuing to improve the culture that's already firmly established by year 7 of Kirby Smarts regime so yeah CJ Allen IS THAT GUY that will emphasize to his teammates that you've got to ride for the brand. It's that intangible, LEADERSHIP that's gonna set this future Butkus Award winner apart in addition to being a perfect fit size, strength and speed wise for the position.
Sorry to see AD Mitchell leave through the portal. That changes things a bit. Ladd McConkey will really need to show out.

With the class bama just got, combined with probably at least 8 draft picks, 10 or so transfers, the media will absolutely make bama 1. Even if bama loses their bowl game.
Not many of those freshman will be big contributors, A&M had highest rated class in history. Didn't work out so well with them. If UGA goes back to back they will open as one but is not a huge deal as it how both teams finish that counts.
@@08clickr, you're right about where you finish is the most important. I was talking about what UGA may be losing this year with draft picks and portal when all is said and done. The media will always put bama and Saban no. 1, whenever they can. Look at this past year, with excuse making bama fans about why they lost the NCG, the media put the same bama team (without the 2 main receivers) that lost the game, as no. 1. It was going to be the same team this year. And as it turned out, they are. A 2 loss team. That is why, I may be wrong, but bama will still be no. 1 preseason. But, who cares. As long as UGA finishes the season no. 1, it's all good.
Dawgs might be the best team of all time next year. Think we gona see alot 4 wide from Georgia. Everybody talking bout bama class. We already have them on campus man. We don't need to grab someone for the sake of it. We went all in on Manning but when that didn't work Kirby didn't even bother really trying for other QB's. He likes what he already has. But it one of our QB'S hits the portal Kirby will probably snag someone out of the portal just to compete and backup

He really does and he'll look 65 years old in a few years. They say it's a lot harder to stay on top than it is to get there.
That's why Saban is beginning to fall off. Ever since Kirby left He's lost the best college football recruiter on his staff. He gets tasked with doing a lot more that he used to not have to do. And he's 71.
Kirby has a very young, dynamic coaching staff that are also ace recruiters so hopefully they can take a lot of stuff off of his plate and free Kirby up a little bit to unwind during the season (Which is 24/7 365 for Kirby)
Those LBs alone means... Defensively the Dawgs will continue to be fast and aggressive. Love the RunningBacks vision type guys. TE Robinson would make them #1 if he picks UGA.. I can't see why he wouldn't Brock is a top 5 pick easy

Recognizing that UGA is a recruiting powerhouse, why do they have such difficulty recruiting in state? Year after year seems like the top players head elsewhere - usually Alabama. If the florida schools - especially Florida - pick up the recruiting pace, UGA could be in trouble. Seriously, why can't they recruit better in state?
Most of the talent in GA, is in the surrounding Metro Atlanta area, unfortunately alot people are moving to that area from other states, so they don't have the ties to the state school. Downs was never going to come to GA, because he felt they did his brother wrong. Justin just wanted to make his on way somewhere else
Idk if you're serious or not with this question. Take a look at the main states for high school football -- Texas, Georgia, Florida, and California. They ALL produce enough talent for many schools. It's simply asinine to think UGA can get them all or lock competitors out based on quantity alone. Nevermind nuances about whether one state has a better recruit at the same position -- those change constantly -- just watch some g.d. tape and tell me who in the last 3-4 years has done the best job of putting the best team on the field? Talk about making an issue out of thin air!
Georgia goes after the best players they can find for the positions we need. We do go after Georgia players. But if someone in Nevada, California, Florida, North Carolina, etc.. is a better player we are going after them. Like you said we are a recruiting powerhouse. That enables us to target guys across the country. We just don't have to stay in state
