I have the exact same one but it's the turbo. 20 years and the owner took really good care if it. Mine looks a lot worse than this one

Hey Texas! Where in TX brah? Yeah baby! We used to live in Ft. Worth by Hulen Mall and then Arlington back in the 80's n 90's. NICE Z! I'm glad I hung on to my '82, 5 on the floor, that I bought in Cleburne way back in '88. It eventually died after driving it all over the Midwest, East coast, FL up to Maine and sat for years on end. Took me 'bout 7 years to customed restore it with deep dish Centerline wheels etc. etc. BUT . . . am enjoying cruising it now in SoCal, San Diego where we moved to back in 2007. My dream of cruising a Z in SoCal weather with the T-tops off is an on going reality😊😊😊That's a really nice car you got there Scott!👍

I was interested in a 944 in 83, but the dealer was, surprise surprise, intolerable. The obvious other options were this ZX or a Supra. After driving both the choice was obvious. I bought the Supra.

Yeah the 83 Supra was more of a glorified celica and no TTops. The collectible Supras actually came along in the 90s

Collectible? This was a new car purchase. The 90s was a decade and two series away. The 81 and previous were Celicas with an inline 6. It was so good it took 'Car of the Year' honors. Toyota at the time owned Lotus who designed the suspension and the body is easily recognizable as a mimic of the the Esprit. The ZX by this time was a long in the tooth boulevard cruiser, far removed from the 240Z. That body style was then cancelled. I doubt you were even alive in 1983 and certainly did not drive them back to back out of the showroom. Again, there was no choice, it was the Supra.
