I expected Liv to lose and she did. I’m disappointed with how the reign and Rhea feud was booked, but proud that Liv was able to use what she was given to turn into a big main event star. I hope they can keep the momentum going for her. I think she can be a really good mid card player for a bit until she gets back into the world title scene down the line
saying Liv no development is funny, superstar of the year across all promotions for me. she had not even half of rhea followers on x start of year, passed her in no time. held title from may until january. beat becky. beat nia. beat iyo, beat rhea. despite triple h NEVER everrrrrrr getting women right, liv promo ability and acting made this a very exciting year for the women.
I agree she was the mvp. But at the end of day, it’s like all that work for what? I think Liv’s promo and in ring have always been there, she just was able to showcase it more. Rhea just looked overwhelming strong to us throughout the entire feud minus a couple of times
Yeah, Dom was cooked on this Raw. You've had a fun career. It will be a long time before he recovers from this. I'm just disappointed with how Triple H is booking him, my guy deserves better Being a Dom's fan is not easy :(
It’s so frustrating. Rhea has literally squashed him at bash in Berlin and Bad Blood and every raw in between. Last night was unnecessary. Tired of them making Dom look so pathetic
@@Jasmine4Miami but to be fair…. What could he do to Rhea? Not like he can lay hands on her, so she will always have the advantage on that bc she knows he can’t hit her back, I don’t think this world is ready for that content😂
The Rock posted a video about how he received the honor of being High Chief and that he needs to leave his “boyish ways” behind him. The heel Final Boss may have been reminded that he needs to grow up and move on from feuds and to resume being a peaceful Chief.
That’s very interesting. I’m sure there’s more and more layers to it all. It’s one of the times where we can really just sit back and watch now. No clue what’s to come
1. The Rock acting like Dwayne was weird to me the entire time. As last time we saw him it was Final Boss and this time it was Hollywood Dwayne. 2. Jey winning was fine just don't know what they're gonna do with Drew here from here on out. Though I knew Jey was gonna win when Cole said that Jey has never beaten Drew McIntyre before in his career. 3. Roman vs Solo was a really fun match to watch 4. CM Punk vs Seth Rollins tore the house down with that banger 5. WWE showed us that LIv's title reign and her winning Crown Jewel Champion meant nothing. She was just a weak champion who was just holding the title for half a year just so Rhea can take it back. Leaving WWE Raw more confused than ever. Also, I feel very bad for the women's division on RAW with Rhea Ripley as Champion again. The issue with Rhea Ripley as Champion is when she was Champion she had a lot of squash matches and had an easy title reign. Not only that, her title reign was boring and had no storylines aside from her stories with TJD and Dom. WIthout TJD nor Dominik, I feel like people will grow very tired of Rhea Ripley as Champion and want her no longer to be Champion. As when she was last Champion she had to miss a lot of PLEs cuz there was no one for her to defend as she squashed everyone having 3 to 5 minute matches and was heavily involved in TJD storyline. Honestly feel like we're about to see a very boring title reign from Rhea Ripley as WWE refuses to make her look weak. When she did look weak for against Liv she'd just come back to beat her for a few weeks after that. This is the first time I've seen a feud that was very one sided with it being 1-4: - Summerslam: Liv pins Rhea - Bash in Berlin: Rhea pins Liv - Bad Blood: Rhea wins via DQ - Survivor Series: Rhea pins Liv - 1st Raw on Netflix: Rhea pins Liv It's just a very one sided feud that had Liv run away from Rhea and getting constantly pinned by Rhea. This feud didn't elevate anyone but Rhea Ripley and got Dom out from being her pet. It's a great shame that WWE fumbled this feud badly and made very questionable booking decisions along the way. We're leaving this feud seeing Liv as a terrible Champion with a terrible bodyguard. Like Liv exited 2024 as Women's Wrestler of the Year and entered the new year getting beat up. As you said, it felt like there was no character development from Liv at all. Lastly, I do not think we'll see Solo or his Bloodline for a while. Think they'll come back when the Rock turns on Roman.
This comment is amazing, and I agree with just about everything you said! The rock stuff last night felt so off, it was great for new casuals, but honestly kind of a slap in the face to the fans who have been begging for an answer to what the hell the 3 fingers meant at bad blood haha. The liv stuff you put together perfectly as well.
Really enjoyed the livestream last night guys I think the episode was good but I just think the wrong people won all night solo should have won because now it feels like the solo Roman storyline is over . Liv should have won because now her reign is over and how are we supposed to remember it when all she did was run. Don’t get me started on jey winning by a quick pin Drew should have definitely won and Seth should have beat punk in my opinion . I’m just gonna wait for the heel turn from either rock or heyman
Thank you for stopping by! We really appreciate that. Yeah on the surface, I kind of agree with you, but I’m going to give WWE the benefit of the doubt on it all. They know better than us. It felt like a “let’s establish all of these top people to a new audience”
I had to wait to watch this because I was very upset with last night's results realizing that it was for a broader audience. However, I can't get over but they have all of the faces win. Only redeeming thing was watching hulk Hogan get booed into irrelevance.
I also think Rhea has bigger plans and big matches for Rhea like Bianca, Charolette, iyo sky, a proper Becky fued, maybe AJ Lee and Alexa bliss, those are Rhea type fueds, now THAT would be a amazing and proper title reign, her first was exciting and featured it a lot even with the men but not a lot of high level fueds with big names
@ the only thing i can think of is that since she lost her title right after finn balor & jd lost their tag titles it probably going to plant the seeds lead to a judgment day split (even though we've probably been saying that for the longest now lol) and liv & raquel are probably going to be back in the running for the women's tag titles again which kinda sucks after liv having a almost if not 7 month long reign as the main women's champion mostly as a placeholder to get rhea more over as a mega babyface in the women's division and her winning the title back from liv as the payoff. tbh that's basically what the storyline was always really about when you think it
@@850bigboy Well we don't know what's next for Rhea either. There is no one that is built to be believable enough to beat Rhea RIpley aside from Iyo Skye, who just got pinned by Lyra who Rhea beat quite easily in NXT. And for the WWE women's tag titles, honestly, I think that's the deadest division ever. There is only 2 actual women's tag team on the main roster and most defenses are just people getting thrown together to challenge them. It's the most useless belts ever, IMO. Perhaps Liv will eventually win the IC belt alongside Dom. Both having matches belts.
@@Austin123. spot on. maybe they'll have rhea feud becky again but i can't becky losing back to back matches to rhea. it also depends on who is going to be apart of the transfer portal as well bayley was on raw last idk if she moved over to raw but i don't want to see her feuding with rhea because she's not going to win & also turning both becky & bayley heel would feel kinda forced just to try & fixed the lack of credible heel problem in raw's women's division
@@850bigboy No one wants to see Rhea vs Becky again. If LIv had won and Becky Lynch returned. It would build towards the Royal Rumble giving them a match. Say Lyra loses to Dakota Kai, they can reinsert Lyra to team with Becky Lynch again. We see a women's tag match at SNME. Then after that we get the Rumble, Becky vs Liv match up. Now we are in a huge unknown territory for Rhea. Sadly, it seems we will be getting a Rhea vs Becky match-up that no one wanted to see again.

@codwrestlepod me neither she deserved a payoff regardless of how like ok lose the way you did but leave the ring strong at least and the Dom stuff didn't need to happen the way it did but that's a personal opinion like instead of the hug bit they could've had him go in to help Liv out of the ring and Rhea catch him off guard and hit him with a riptide that way so it doesn't look like Livs revenge tour completely "backfired" or "failed" like Liv still walked away with having taken rheas boyfriend and the judgement day but again that's just a personal opinion then to have taker to come out and celebrate with Rhea kinda to me made it look like oh ok rheas getting everything she's gonna want this year and won't really have to work for it too much
