Hello Petpet. I am new to your channel. I have really enjoyed your video on the lounge pants. I have a trip coming up and I think that I will be making these for my flight as well. They look very comfortable. Thank you. I look forward to many more tutorials.
Hello 👋 Was wondering something. How exactly do you measure figure out how much croch space you need to know how many chains to make? 😜😂 Do you slip them on and measure? 🤪 Also… if I wanted to have my pant legs to ankle but tapered down some where I wanted a cuffed ankle… do you know how I could do this? I know it would involve decreasing some but really not sure the best way to go about it to make it look right… like a pair of cuffed joggers. 😛
I actually found out the crotch part by measuring that section of a pair of pants I own 😂 but you can make a chain then try them on! For joggers, I would crochet until around knee length then add 2-3 decreases every other row or so until it tapers down to your liking!
@@petpetcrochets Okay great… that sounds easy enough I think 🤪 When I say cuff part of ankle I mean really where the pants go down like you mentioned here with the decreases but when come to the ankle you have like a ribbed cuff around ankle like some sweaters have around the wrist? 😛
anyone have recommendations on how to make seams 😅 I feel like I am not going into the right stitch. if I pull the waist band tight it is very obvious where my seams are and they don’t look pretty
Hi I wanted to ask you because I'm size 3xl, how should I adjust my hips. does the initial chain have to be the size of the hips which is the largest? Thank you
Yes! I would make the starting chain long enough that it can fit around the widest part of your hips. You can cinch in the waist with the “belt” or sew in an elastic. If you find that it is still too loose on the top part, you can make a ribbing with alternating front and back post double crochet stitches or a waistband with backloop only slip stitches!
I would increase and make the body of the pants a little wider! You could also increase a few stitches when you make the individual pant legs, just make sure to make the same amount of increases on the other side 😊
I loved this crochet pants so much and thanks for sharing the tutorial 😘 i just have a question regarding the increase ,did you do it only in the corner stiches wherein the stitch markers or you applied the inc. In each stitch along the rows of inc. ?
The back would be there the seam is! Where you joined the two sides with a slip stitch before beginning the next round when making the body of the pants 😊
You can use any hook and yarn since this is based on measurements! If you’re not sure which hook, you can look on your yarn for which hook they would recommend 😊
Hey! I love the tutorial the pants look great, I was windering though I'm struggling trying to figure out how many rows to make before moving on to the crotch how many inches was your waist band before you moved to the crotch?
I typically (for higher waisted) go for about 9” before I start the crotch area. I have tutorials on shorts where I measure it out and explain! You could also keep trying it on to determine where to start that portion
Hey, the tutorial was really easy and point to point! I loved it. Before actually starting this project, I had a question in mind doesn’t the crochet pants become see through a little in the gaps? Or did you sew a cloth inside?
You can definitely sew in a liner but I like to wear leggings or tights under depending on how much extra warmth I need! You could also use a smaller hook or sc stitches to make the gaps tighter 😊
You can try using a smaller hook to make the stitches tighter! Or use sc stitches instead or the waistcoat stitch. You could also do a variation of the hdc stitch (linked hdc st)…I’ll post a short video tutorial later today and it helps to close the gaps. I’ll reply to this message and let you know when it’s up!
I’m making this right now this is day one I hope I finish it before Monday 3:04

Absolutely love the look of these and I can't wait to get the yarn to make a pair.
Thank you for sharing 🙏🥰
Beautiful design omg! I'm starting right now. How many grams of yarn did you end up using?
Thank you!! I want to say I used around 500g of yarn for this one
@@petpetcrochetswhat yarn did you use?
So adorable! Just a question, every time you come to end of the round/row, once you’ve chained 3, why is the work turned? Thank you❤
Hi! I turn to keep the seam centered. If you keep working in one direction the seam will slowly shift and become slanted 💗
its soo pretty how much yarn did you use??
I had a question! If i didn't want it to be like tight on my thighs, would I have to inc? or do I just keep doing regular hdc?
I would increase and make the body of the pants a little wider! You could also increase a few stitches when you make the individual pant legs, just make sure to make the same amount of increases on the other side 😊
I love this pants i almost done with one leg , we want the top if you can share it tank you ❤
Yes absolutely!! Working on it 💗
What yarn is this you're using, I got the weight but what brand?
This is the Caron Blossom Cakes yarn in the color Yacht Club!
I loved this crochet pants so much and thanks for sharing the tutorial 😘 i just have a question regarding the increase ,did you do it only in the corner stiches wherein the stitch markers or you applied the inc. In each stitch along the rows of inc. ?
I added just into the stitch marker! However, if you need it to increase more you can add more increases into the other stitches
@@petpetcrochets thanks a lot petpet😘🙏
I've made these and they've come out really well but which is the front and which is the back please 😅
The back would be there the seam is! Where you joined the two sides with a slip stitch before beginning the next round when making the body of the pants 😊

What colours for the yarn did u use specifically?
This is the color yacht club!

Hi
How much yardage about would I need if I used a bulky 6 weight yarn for a medium size? 😜
Are we supposed to use the exact same hook
You can use any hook and yarn since this is based on measurements! If you’re not sure which hook, you can look on your yarn for which hook they would recommend 😊

I’ve been procrastinating on this one! I’ll have it out soon 😊💗💗
Can we get a tube top tutorial? 💗
Yes 🙌🏼 I’m gonna get started on that after Valentine’s Day ♥️
Hi! Im making the pants now! Im so excited, its gonna be the first pair of pants i make!!
I was wondering, the wooden beads - how many mm are they?
This is from Michaels the brand is “bead landing” and it is the 15mm wood natural!

The single crochet almost covered up the gaps
