LUAS Cross City - Liam Whelan Bridge Replacement - (5 minute edit)

As part of the new LUAS Cross City construction, works were required on the Liam Whelan Bridge located on Fassaugh Road in Cabra.
The works involved a new deck being constructed adjacent to the existing structure on a temporary supporting structure. Once the new deck was ready, the existing deck was removed, installation of new foundations and abutments took place. Then the new deck was moved into position.
