Have any of your domains been sold on Afternic?

Hello, Yes I have a video on one example of a domain I've sold on Afternic. If you go to the main channel and search for $1 to $100 you'll see it popup. Thanks for watching!

I think you may have to wait for the Fast Transfer service to take effect. Please find more info here: www.namecheap.com/blog/how-to-sell-your-domains/

Hello! Yep, you can sell a domain on Afternic from Namecheap. Here's the process I found directly from Namecheap -- www.namecheap.com/legal/domains/fast-transfer-agreement/#:~:text=Namecheap%20allows%20you%20to%20use,to%20the%20Fast%20Transfer%20Service.

Hello. Can you go into how do you find these for 12 dollars?

    • @MattoxRyan

Hey @jfrombk338, Thank you for watching, I really appreciate your support! So for these domains that I buy, I've been going to GoDaddy and buying them there. The $12.17 is the final price after tax and fees. That's typically for a 1 year plan. I don't get all the extra add-ons and up-charges if I know I'll most likely be trying to sell them. Also, I'll use instantdomainsearch.com/ to see if the domain I'm thinking up in my head is available or not. That allows me to not spent a lot of wasted time getting excited about a domain come to find out it's already taken.. I hope this helps to answer your question. 👍

@@MattoxRyan it does! Thanks for your reply as well. It's really hard to find people that make content on domaining who also respond as well.
Question - so do you prefer this method over flipping expired domains? I see alot of 12 to 300 videos talking about flipping expired domains. Do you also recommend that

Sweet! You're welcome, I'm happy to help out. I really appreciate when UA-camrs reply to my comments so I know the feeling. I told myself I need to engage with my viewers the way I would expect others would for me. Ya know, when it comes to flipping domains, honestly expired domains can be lucrative as well. I think it mainly comes down to the domain name itself. I personally wouldn't buy one unless I felt confident I did all my research that it was something people were looking for. If nothing else gaining knowledge and education on various domain flipping videos are great resources!

@@MattoxRyan thanks again. Do you think it's realistic to turn this into full time work or at least a consistent side hustle? Also, how quick if a turn around do you think it takes from listing to selling. Thanks!

You're welcome! I gotta be honest, I think there is a learning curve when it comes to being able to spot and pick legitimate domain names that people would want to purchase. I'm not saying this to scare you, more so to just remember to do your homework and try to put yourself in the shoes of a buyer/consumer and think if this domain is something that would be brand worthy. I absolutely think consistent side hustle that could possibly turn into full time gig! Like most things online the more you watch, digest and learn you'll hone in your skills and it will become 2nd nature. I think turnaround time varies depending on the domain name itself. I've had some domains sit on Afternic for months, but I think I just chose crappy domain names, haha. I do have a video on BrandBucket a marketplace that pays in the thousands for domains and only costs $1 to list them. But if you sign-up for an account they give you 10 credits aka $10 aka 10 domains you can list for free.. If you're interested, you can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/sm8kfiyleRk/v-deo.html
