Dua Lipa - Levitating [BASS COVER] - with notation and tabs

This bassline is so damn funky!! I know it's a bit more rare for me to do a straight up pop song but there's a lot to this one and I thought it was worth doing. Check all the cool ghost note stuff, as well as a few pretty heavy bass fills! The Disco parts in the later choruses also get pretty challenging if you decide to incorporate the "I'm levitating" hook in there as well... :D

I love this track but is the main riff not played with slap? You're probably right about it but I always thought it was slapped

It probably is, or kinda half and half. It's one of those super produced things where it's right on the edge of really dug in fingers and slap, and I just opted to do it this way. I know live they slap more of it. *Shrug*
I more wanted to showcase the notes and cool ghosting etc. Slappers gonna slap if they want!

@@BennyTheBassman The ghost notes make it sound even better tbf and I don't think you'd get the same sort of feel on some of the parts as you would playing fingerstyle like some of the triplets and such
