Fun fact: this is the longest Killing voice episode ever made. It was originally longer with 40 minutes but they had to cut some songs out (like Zoo, So good and Rbb) and the girls said they wanted to make a second part because of all the songs left out. Just proves how good RV's discography is

Wendy has the best stamina out of all the members. If you went to any of their concerts, she's literally a powerbank.
This little jumping is a piece of cake for her.
Literally every person's reaction to Red Velvet involves:
1. Praising Yeri's fairy like tone that highlights and accentuates the overall RV sound
2. Telling Irene to stop killing us with her deep and husky tones and her immaculate raps
3. Gasping at Joy's pitch accuracy and ability to harmonise with everyone at every single moment
4. Tearing at Seulgi's sultry tones and riffs + ad libs that would have passed as a main vocal material anywhere else
5. Moaning Wendy's name from start to end as she destroys all form of coherent thoughts, since theres no need to say anything when it comes to utter perfection.

Tbh I'm a Wendy bias. But what kind of Wendy bias would I be if I couldn't cheer on her favorite maknae, and quite possibly one of the happiest voices I've ever heard. Literally when she's singing and happy, it 'sounds' like there's a smile in her voice(that thing choir attempts to teach you but never gives an explanation or example)

Before they even came out I knew where Joy, Wendy & Yeri were going to stand…full disclosure, I had Seulgi & Irene backwards
Joy's mic was the most obvious of all but Wendy's threw me way off. Irene must be wearing some HEELS while Wendy was in tennis shoes. Otherwise, Irene is at least an inch shorter than Wendy and nowhere near Seulgi's height.
Foul but it doesn't make sense because Irene is shorter than seulgi and yeri.....

Seulgi is an inch taller at 5'3".
Joy is 5'6".
Red Velvet Irene's case is the opposite of Dreamcatcher Dami's case. People know Irene as a Lead Vocalist and forget or skip over the fact that she is the Main Rapper of RV. She is completely under-rated as a Rapper and under-utilized as a Vocalist. We don't get to hear enough of her either way. She is SM''s best-kept secret. Very sad.
What’s crazy is This wasn’t even the whole Killing voice Seulgi hinted that they had more but due to time constraints and the amount of time for each episode they had to cut the rest out and that this was the longest in the shows history Goes to shows that Red Velvet are The Queens of K-POP With a Legendary Discography

The more proper words i would use is that they never release half-assed music since a song good or bad could be very subjective. And i do think some of their comebacks are a miss or underwhelming for me but i still can tell it's such a well-prepared one and they tried different things and unfortunately that didn't work out (or for me)
It's really becoming apparent that they didn't just roll in to "appear" on this show. They really SHOULD give them a part 2 another episode. Because they OWN this show now. Other groups will now be appearing on "Red Velvets Killing Voice."

Y'all don't understand. I've been reveluv since debut and have seen them live in concert many times over the years.
They have one of the best live vocals (if not THE BEST) I've ever heard. They jump and run around but their vocals so stable. And their harmonization is perfect!
Wendy especially is a beast! She hits her high notes every time. Seulgi as well. She's so consistent.
They always impress me while same time it's no surprise. 😄

WHO put them on Killing Voice?? BRILLIANT!!! They've been around,.. is it 9yrs now?? And people still don't know them? If you didn't LOVE them before,... you surely DO NOW!!! This is all them singing LIVE here. WHY are their fans SOOOO dedicated??? THIS IS WHY!!! And they've CLEARLY upped the anti here,... how many songs are they doing and it's going over 30 minutes too.
Their voices are distinct, yet blends seamlessly together. You don't hear that anymore in recent Kpop groups.

You guys cannot believe how long we had to wait for the Killing Voice but I am sooo glad that we finally got it. Heck we even got the longest one to date. Can you imagine that it was even longer?? They recorded for 40 minutes but had to cut it shorter.
I reacted like you guys when I saw them live in Berlin. Joy was sadly missing but they literally sound like this in real life which is insane.
Feel like all of them get better and better with each comeback. It's crazy how well they sound together even though each of them has her different tone. And WENDY! She really got even better after her musical run.
If you haven't seen it already, I highly recommend you to watch Lee Mujin Service with Wendy. She performs a short piano version of Chill Kill which is phenomenal and later she sings I Have Nothing by Whitney Housten because she always practiced it during her trainee years.
Chill Kill sounds absolutely amazing live 😭 hearing it at the end really makes me appreciate the song more. Such overwhelming emotion from each member, it’s brilliant 💯

As a Wendy ult I'm so grateful and floored by the sheer quality of this Killing Voice, but I think Irene showed how better her range is than what most people thought. Usually some folks say that Irene is just visual when her timbre is vital to the RedVelvetvoice, and in fact, her voice is the most velvet-y of all, because of her natural low tone. I love how everyone shines in this KV and how you also were enchanted by the 5 members along this video.
Also, this is the longest Killingvoice ever, and even Seulgi said today they had to cut some songs they planned to do, like "So Good" and 2 or 3 more. Just crazy how wide RV's discography is.
Irene has always had good intonation- I don’t recall ever hearing her off key. She also got a high note part in Wildside…

@@chuuu4610 I think people has this preconception about visuals in 2nd and 3rd gens that they’re there just to look pretty, but Irene is so much more than that (never forget her leadership skills, and how she raised Yeri 🥲). But I loved Irene enjoying so much. And Joy, too!

Wendy's vocal is so superior. I'm not an avid fan of Red Velvet because most of their music are not my taste but it's always Wendy's voice that pull me in. She is the sole reason I listen to these three songs: Red flavour, Bad Boy and Psycho.

... Just AHHHH- that's all I got to say about them and this whole freaking Killing Voice (definitely one of my favorites, and still waiting for certain Groups to go on here as well) the way they all just MURDERED that like holy cow definitely one of if not my favorite vocals from a Group for MANY reasons (and yeah I had the same reaction as you guys). Also can we just talk about the WenRene glances and stares like ladies you guys are being a little obvious- and speaking of their stares the way Wendy and Irene looked at the camera while singing (especially Irene) like legit they were seducing that camera and the way Wendy introduced and ended some songs (like Automatic) had me by the throat, and JUST IRENE legit she had me panicking the entire time especially the way she sang "Lady's" she knew what she was doing. And dude Seulgi was such a freaking cutie like I just want to pinch her cheeks, our little bear was being too adorable and wholesome and KILLING the vocals. Okay Joy every time it changed to her I started smiling like an idiot no wonder why she is called Joy because she brought me so much Joy and happiness, she was being way too cute for her own good and the way she was jumping up and down. And Yeri she didn't have as many lines but when she did have a line she KILLED it and the fact that she was sick as well during it (I'm seeing a pattern of idols being sick on Dingo) and she was also so cute and the way she was leaning on Joy at the end was adorable! Just everything about this and I love how certain songs they got so excited and started dancing and jumping up and down (also YES Zimzalabim supremacy it deserves more love, and I can't tell you how happy I was when they did You Better Know, one of my favorite B - Sides it's so good), and the fact that they legit sounded the same as they did on the track (they eat CD's for breakfast, lunch and dinner I'm convinced), again this was 10/10. Except I think they should've turned down the backtrack a little bit because they really didn't need it but it's fine! Anyways I can't wait for you guys to react to more Red Velvet such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, and Moments- I can't wait for more Content from you guys and I hope that you both are doing well and staying safe and healthy!

There are a couple of reasons why Seulgi is SO AWESOME.
First, God-Given born talent for Music.
Second, HARD work because her parents told her she would never amount to anything (seriously, she had THOSE parents, called her 'worthless' her entire life, the whole bit. She suffers from low self-esteem, all of that, directly because of how she was raised. That is why she is SO SHY. So of course, she had to discover her gifts on her own and liberate herself from her family's tyranny).
Finally, she has one of THE BEST Vocal Coaches on Earth as her Best Friend in the entire world; Wendy.
I am sure that Seulgi returned the favor and helped Wendy in her Dancing abilities.
Where did you get the second point from, I mean did she ever mention it somewhere? Because from what I know she was a trainee for 7 years and her parents were supportive and even now her relationship with her parents is quite good. I'm just asking out of curiosity.

I have been a fan of RV for a few years (not from their debut but AT LEAST from 2018). I read a lot of stuff and watched a lot of videos besides the MVs.
Maybe it's in one of the Behind-The-Scenes videos for something? Maybe one of the trips they took? (The four members went to Jeju when Wendy was in the hospital, after the promotions for 'Monster' and I think the whole group did it again in 2021 or 2022)?
Maybe she talked about it when she made the rounds promoting for '28 Reasons'. She was technically interviewed by Wendy first, to get her warmed up in order to go around promoting at all the different shows (hopefully you already know how shy Seulgi is and this was her first time promoting ALONE).
Outside of SM and Wendy, the first stop was on Showterview, being interviewed by Sunmi. Those two have been friends for years so Seulgi wanted Sunmi's show to be the first stop. Thankfully all of that worked out just right.
Sunmi was a huge positive role model that Seulgi has looked up to. Definitely check out that interview if you have not seen it already (bring tissues, there should be a cry warning for that episode...).
If it is not in there somewhere, then I can't remember where I heard it from. Now you have me wracking my brain... lol
Seulgi is VERY close to her family (her brother, mom, and especially her dad). Even the members are called with sweet endearment by Seulgi's dad.
