This episode covers entire chapters 4 and 5 and about 1/3 of chapter 6 of the manga. They continue doing a great adaptation of the manga to the anime. A interesting addition to the anime is the jump scare kaiju that tried to attack Hosha but is stopped at the last moment by hidden reactive barrier bars.
I do love how well they detailed the combat suits and animate them. Poor Kafka getting 0% but it's probably because he is a human/Kajiu hybrid. The suits are made with kaiju muscles, so Kafka's inner Kajiu reaction to it as a foreign invader not allowing it to conect. It could also be believing Kafka does not any kaiju enhancement than itself.
