I really dislike the ‘active pause’ because if something is changing (ie. airspeed) it continues to change, so when you unpause, you could be exceeding VNE or stalling. I have no idea why they thought that was a good idea!
Seems like they improved the game in patches. Earlier I were unable to break plane in the game no matter how fast I flew using simulator difficulty settings.
They are. And the 172 will recover even if you keep the control inputs that started the spin. It is possible to keep the 172 in a spin but it is difficult.
Yeah. I did a video a year ago comparing and contrasting the stall/spin characteristics of MSFS and X-Plane. It's available here: ua-cam.com/video/SjT06QyN1no/v-deo.html
If the plane is certified for spins it will recover if the recovery is done correctly. if you have never done a spin find an instructor before you do then solo. Don't do a full flap spin with full power.
That actually happened to me right after solo unfortunately. I thought that’s it, I’m dying. Thank God I put flaps up and continued with the rest of stall recovery
The real 172 is way harder to get into a spin :D

I was glad to see your video getting some much deserved street credit in the developer update from 9/2, keep making great content.
Nice video. Although I think you did not gain 200 ft, but lost 800 : )

I thought the C172 and C152 are forgiving enough to come out of spends without a lot of user inputs. Your thoughts?

@@VirtualAviationAviator Thanks.
spin to the left and kick left rudder ? I thought rudder input should be opposite to spin direction
That's for recovery, he kicked the left rudder to help initiate the spin for the sake of the video I'm assuming

It would be nice if they had more accurate damage instead of just black screen
