I think that we can all agree that while it is cool to see one of your favorite celebrities from your childhood, that does not give you the right to flash and record them at any moment just because they’re a celebrity. In all seriousness I do feel as though that Tobey Maguire is sick of being known as Spider Man
Yea I know he's worth millions and should be grateful for it but at the same time I wouldn't want people constantly following me, recording me, making mean spirited Spiderman jokes every chance they get. Especially since you can tell he's an introvert and is more behind the scenes nowadays, he just wants to be left alone. We gave him money, he gave us great films. He doesn't owe us anything else.
I don't think he's sick of being known for Spider-Man he just doesn't like all the constant attention that it has brought him. Which I'm sure we all can understand. That's like the best role an actor could get and those movies will be remembered forever. I'm sure he's eternally grateful that he got to play Spider-Man. I get how that would be annoying but doing that was extreme. And there was that one time he tried to make a woman bark like a seal for a $1000 poker chip. I get the constant attention pisses him off but like why not interact with people every once in a while? Surely a friendly conversation would be enjoyable for everybody and a lot of people would even be respectful and not have the camera on or invade his space. Most celebrities that have had big roles like him are super nice to their fans. Even in this clip if he would have just turned around and asked the guy to leave him alone he probably would have.
