- Fly fishing a small creek in a blizzard for rainbow trout. I decided to go throw small crystal buggers in the snow with my 3WT Redington Butterstick. This creek is known to hold some huge fish but they are few and far between. The usual catch is rainbow trout in the 12-18 inch range. I had been flinging a white crystal bugger for about 15 minutes and BAM, fish on. check out the full video to see my surprise catch! Thanks, for checking out Fishiki fly fishing today!

This dude is incredible at fishing!
Haha Kyle no need to spread fake news! Let's get out again soon man!
Some of the best content out there! Nice work!
Thanks, Braxton! I appreciate that!
Great video! Keep em’ coming!
Thank you! I intend to create a lot of videos this year. Tight lines!
Love the glasses at the beginning!
I'm new at all of this and am starting to like the glass rods for some things. I just got a Moonshine 3 WT that will be fun to catch the small ones on.
Nice! I purchased a 10ft 5WT moonshine rod last year. I’ve used it for fishing Stillwater mostly, but they make a great rod! I’m still a sucker for the butterstick but I’m hoping to get my hands on a blue halo glass rod here soon. Thanks, for watching!
Awesome video man! Nice fish! I just came across your channel and I'm loving the content! Just subbed, keep it up!
Thanks, for checking it out and for the sub!
Hey Mike,
Thanks for sharing another awesome video! I’m curious to know what’s your camera/equipment setup?
Hey Seth, I use a Nikon d750 and an older GoPro. I'm actually thinking about switching things up though. The d750 is great but I think it's a little big for what I do. I've been looking at the Sony alpha a7 iii and switching out the GoPro with a dji osmo plus. For this summer though I'll be filming with the d750. Thanks for watching!
What color of bugger were you using?
I caught fish on three different colors, white, brown, and olive/brown. The water was a little off color so I noticed that using white produced more fish than the others. Unfortunately it was my only white streamer I had with me and I lost it about an hour in, so I switched between the other two colors. Thanks, for checking out the video!
@@FishikiFlyFishing Good to know. Ive caught some pretty big fish out of that little creek. So thank you for not posting that hidden gem. Its also not easy fishing with all the moss. Keep up the good work.
@@UpHillCinema That place definitely has some big ones, that brown doesn't even touch a few of the fish that I've seen in there. I try my best to make videos without giving away too much information about the location. Hot spotting is very detrimental, especially to these smaller waters and the sport in general. Plus it takes out all of the fun of discovering places to fish on your own.
@@FishikiFlyFishing YES! I couldn't agree more. We should go through some flies this spring/summer.
Yeah, let's do. I'm totally down. DM me on instagram and we will make it happen.
