We have beaten these teams regularly. We have them at home. I think Baltimore and Cincy are at a disadvantage.

I think you are looking at it wrong. Chiefs get entire offseason to prepare for Baltimore and a mini bye to prepare for the Bengals. We know Andy usually has his team ready early on. Would you rather face the Ravens mid season, coming off a west coast trip on a short week? I didn't think so.
I like it a lot. Andy Reid has a great record in opening day in September. Let's get these guys out of the way. Heck, we could lose the first two and still make it where we want to be. So. I'll take two home games any day. This will make the team come in ready to go and not sleepwalk into the season. How about those Chiefs!

Andy Reid does great when he has plenty of time to prepare......and he will will have all offseason to prepare for the Ravens and a mini bye week after the Ravens to prepare for the Bengals....and both games are at home. I would say that the Chiefs have a great chance to start 2-0 and win 2 big tiebreaker games right from the start.

You must not have anything truly interesting to talk about. How about talking about who is going to be the guy to get us one or two yards on the ground when we need that? I don’t see this as such a terrible schedule except the 3 games in 10 days and the early bye sucks.

I think that u guys are wrong about Reid taking these two games lighter than later..These are both games that will more than likely have serious playoff for seeding..They lose both these games they're now behind the 8 ball to not on but two different teams..

Early bye week and 3 games in 11 days right before the playoffs. It feels like they are intentionally trying to injure Chiefs players heading into the playoffs.

I think they made the Chiefs schedule 1st and then did a work a round. We just need to go out there 1 week at a time and dominate each and everyone of these teams one at a time. Don't wait till the 2nd half of the season to do a comeback. We are all going to have injuries so we need to win each and everyone one of these games. We don't know how bad or who it's going to be. I think we are good...better than good.
If Kansas City is supposed to be the best team in the world, then having the first two games at home, I think it’s great cause it shows off that they are; they just have to win those two games

I never put so much thought into the first couple of games . Of course no one wants to lose at all let alone start your season with a lose , but honestly,most teams are still working out the kinks . It’s not how you start it’s how you finish.

It’s a long season and last year proved the Chiefs can and will overcome.
This is actually beneficial for the Chiefs, not only because of what Nick Wright has already said about a no big deal scenario win or lose, but also that IF Rashee Rice isn't suspended for the entire season for being an idiot, it would actually change the entire dynamic of the offense come post season. Any analytics Ravens or Bengals will take away from these games would be moot.

If both punters are about equivalent in their ability, I'd say the tie breaker would be who is a better holder. We have the best kicker in the nfl. We have to make sure whoever is holding for him is super reliable.
