Underrated but at like 14:30, there is one of the smoothest transitions I’ve ever seen. Mr fruit gets hit by a bomb and as it explodes. It transitions to another part in the race.

Pressing RB after going off even the tiniest little ramps, bumps, or ledges will make you boooosted when you land (even on all of the thwomp waves on old rainbow road)
Hold down LB to hold your item behind you to block all the shizz
The boom box can knock away evraythang (including blue shells while in first place)
Also as the 2 pops up is the sweet spot to rev your engine but I think you got that as well as the drifting

Going out on a limb, a lot of gamers are at least a little competitive, and random BS like what Mario Kart is prone to feels unfair? Just a guess, honestly.
A lot of them are based on luck especially Mario party so when people see an easy sounding game they feel entitled to a win. Then to find out they get outlucked by a friend it is difficult. As for mariokart... items

Not really, he has absolutely no object permanence. He has no idea where any of the things hitting him are coming from, never gets out of the way of an incoming blue shell, drives into people with prepped items, and never holds items out to stop shells or players. Theres alot of basic strategy there he is completely oblivious to.
And would use a better kart than the garbage Zelda bike

Imagine what Mr. Fruit could do if he checked cart/racer stats and did the tricks in the air to get boost when landing.
Well Shy Guy is the best character, and when he used the normal cart loadout it wasnt far off from one of the best possible loadouts in the game.
And he has such little control I think giving him less air control and more speed would just make him fly into walls faster. He needs less speed and more handling, which is why Shy Guy is great. That way he can get to first by just being really good at recovering and avoiding obstacles instead of raw speed.
fruit's got a great timing in games and has some really good reflexes ( speedrunners, that one jumping and ducking mini game in some party game) and somehoww manages to suck in mario kart , he was pretty good in that sonic racing game too

I love how Mr. Fruit sings the star theme song every time he gets it like it's the only thing keeping him sane.
Some tips:
- use the higher acceleration characters until you get better. Shy guy was a good choice.
- don't use bikes (they are super hard to drift with) until you get the hang of them.
- use trick on jumps to get an extra boost. You hit the drift button right after jumping (bouncing on the ground counts as a little jump).
If I wasn’t watching and only listened, then I feel like I’m listening to anime battles.
Mr fruit, the reason you're not winning is because you're picking the wrong characters, you need the channel the Fruit colour scheme by picking someone green and red like Bowser Jr

Two things. You gotta work on them drifts Fruit. Avoid the grass and maybe look up an OPTIMAL build.

I remember when i played mario cart against my friends, they would say i was cheating because i was SO GOOD at playing this game. This is the only game i could say, “alright im gonna stop losing,” and actually get good. I played this religiously when i was younger, lol they were always salty when i would win.
I've never watched one of your videos and cringe, as usually you're ability in videogames far surpass my own. But in this one instance, whenever you play Mario kart I cringe. But I still enjoy it because suffering can be fun too at times.

You're not looking bad. I think a lot of you issues is not knowing/using the speed boosts on jumps and your vehicle. They make so much difference and I can't even explain how

Jeez man, video starts with a commercial "okay that's fine" and after two freaking minutes the next commercial pops up... I bailed out.
You kinda brought it on yourself with these kart/wheel selections. MK is simple enough for anyone to play but has many aspects you can master. You will improve by playing and not raging.
I feel like Fruit would do better just playing a cart instead of a cycle. Cycles require better precision when drifting and doesn't help he doesn't trick off ramps and bumps.
