I am so sorry it has taken me so long to know this young man. His style, his soul, and voice are so hauntingly beautiful.
I'm sure you heard this young man before you realised his true talent. His biggest song was 'I need a dollar'... Used in multiple commercials. I recorded his album on an old phone and this was on it.. it was my favourite song, still is. I used to listen to it on the train when I had nowhere to go

Shout out to pastor Stephen Furtick for posting a clip of the Dre Beats headphones commercial at the end of his crash the chatterbox sermon. I otherwise would have never known about Aloe until he was mainstream which I imagine is very likely to happen soon. I don't know where to start or where to end. I'm just soaking all the talent in. The music, the feeling, the twist, everything is so palatable to my right brain. Exquisite!

That may be a touch extreme. The state of music on the whole hasn't really changed in the last century or so since the invention of the gramophone. In the past hundred years there have been just as many bad, forgettable, unsubstantial artists as there are today. The only real thing that's changed is our awareness of the state of music on the whole. Now before the invention of the gramophone is a different story, one where music was performance only, and all recognized artists were masters.
