I guess she figured that that would make up for all of the times she stole his food. I cracked up over Kotaro's look of annoyance when she put her toy in his water.
The timing on that is so perfect! He just kinda stares at her and she freezes because she knows she dun f'd up. Then he nods, she gets the bell out and goes on her way, and he continues his ritual like nothing happened.
I know this is a few months old, but it never 'gets old' watching this little cutie and her antics. She does have the sweetest face... and endearing personality. Her collecting 🎀, very girly of her, is so funny to watch. Thanks for sharing these two amazing little beings with all of us.

You said it! It’s quality content and they are creating draw to the babies by adding and talking about their character traits. It’s better than a sitcom because it’s real life and we all can relate to it and it’s novel because it’s Sea Otters and we normally only get to see them at the zoo. I enjoy watching your vlog and judging by your home the time and money you spend on Hana and Kotaro it is obvious how much you love them. I have seen people with fewer beds, tubs, toys, etc who have children. I respect your observation and dedication to these Otters. I had no idea that people raised them. I have seen people who raise a particular species of Owls more recently also that I wasn't aware of either. Your Otters seem like very social animals like they must need a companion to be healthy and content. They are very sweet I am glad you take such good care of them.
I think it’s safe to say that they not only love and care about Kotaro and Hana as if they are their own human children but they also see them as no different from us seeing our own human children.
