I love the electric effects on Hero's Origin but can't stand that Pegasus finisher. Then again I'm biased because how can you beat smashing a giant frying pan onto enemies? You can't.
@@Irose_YTBE its becuz they wanted to make it look cool but of they gave players control and fix the camera to not be cinematic it would be 10x better. Or just make into thunderstorm finisher from BBS lol
Mister the Person They REMIND me of reflect from 2FM. People always say that it’s brain dead but that’s not the case. You have too time it properly, just like this and when you do, both do very rewarding damage. I am perfectly fine with how much damage this does. Same with reflect.
@@RegularDude117 timing my attacks instead of just mashing X What fuckery are you suggesting Really though reflect and the shields do at least take some thought, unlike the unholy surge/balloonra spam from certain games
@@MisterPersonSiR_ BBS has some design depth, I played with no more than one surge per deck and had a blast. DDD, though... Not quite as much. Even without Balloon attacks, pretty repetitive. Unless you do a Keyblade damage build, but that's not much more interesting.
13:01 Larxene: Whats the matter?!?!? Me: I don't know Larxene you getting hit with a bunch of flame pillars from a rat that lives in Paris, thats the matter xD
Rising of the Shield hero: the kingdom hearts experience, 👍 sick concept Counter punch shield: regular Thunder shield Wrath shield: frying Pan max powered
Surely I'm not the first one to notice it, but the Counter Shiel of Hero's origin, with those giant fists (which are obvious Hercules') have the same mechanic than some of Luffy's attacks (from "One Piece"). Mainly, "Gomu Gomu No Elephant Gun" and "Gomo Gomu No Elephant Gatling".
The fists and the lightning of Hero's Origin are much cooler than the fire of Grand Chef. Only the finisher holds it back, it's honestly not very fun to use.
Honestly, this game makes me realize how bad the Shield combos are. Like they’re slow and clunky. People swear the combat is as good as two’s… I’ll ask “in what way?” Because honestly, I wish you could change Sora’s Forms instead of having it locked to a Keyblade. Then I’d say it’s better than two’s. But no. 3 has to give sets of 2 per Keyblade transformations. Wheel of Fate, is our only FF reference in the whole game. In Highwind. I wish we got some FF keyblades instead of… 2 Second Forms 2 Claws 2 Arrow Guns 2 Launcher Guns 2 Hammers 2 Drills 2 shields We have Ever After borrowing Wisdom Form’s flow, Dual Form being a better Valor Form, and… Ultima is Screen Nuke central. If the Keyblade Transformation system didn’t feel like the Command Style system and more like Drive Forms, I’d like them better.
Not even the x-blade can reach the sheer damage output of A Hero’s Origin and Grand Chef

I hate how that finisher is such a mess in the game cuz it looked like one of the cooler ones to use based off the trailers and stuff.

Honestly it would've been far cooler as a screen clearing cutscene or a powerful dash attack
The shields were amazing
Then critical counter got added
Now the shields are broken
In a good way

Damn it, Grand Chef could have saved me so much time. Skoll is a Heartless made from ice and blizzard, of course his elemental weakness would be fire.
RedNether Countershield destroys him just as much, I just wanted to use Frying Pan.
@@RegularDude117 How much does Countershield and Frying Pan help against the Data Org & Yozora?
RedNether I don’t know how to optimally use them yet but I have tried them and they still do the same damage :)
May your Fist be your guiding Frying Pan
Counter Shield is bae
The countershield is pretty strong, but I still enjoy the transformations of the Shooting Star and the Hunny Spout Keyblades more.
15:10 they all just nopped out the exact moment you pulled it out
Jotaro would be proud

I'm usually only able to take out 2-3 bars st a time. How do you take out so many at once?
Aasim perfect guarding and strength build. Also went the warrior route at station of awakening

So you have block twice first so you can get that barrage counter?
Yes. Blocking once gives you the singular fist.
