  • Hi everyone, welcome to my Any% Speedrunning Tutorial for Turok 2: Seeds of Evil EX (Remastered version by Night Dive Studios.)
    In this part, I cover some basic settings and movement tech that you need to know about to follow the rest of the guide.

    So awesome u did this guide i wanted to get into this game For like a year and i finally have a beginner guide For it now

    For whatever reason they change Turok's run speed and made him super slow and a ton of jumps just impossible to do in the Switch version of the remaster, strafing isn't even in the options anymore, do you happen to know why in the world they would do that?

      Strafe speed in its core is essentially not intended behavior. I can only guess it's because you use a joystick for movement. Strafe running is faster because both directions held increase movement speed individually, so it adds up.

    They need to separate the Pc and Console Speedrun, instead of just being a Speedrun on all platforms. Like is there any Strafe run on the console versions at all. I really can't notice it at all.
