After a tough loss in Game 3 of the 2024 College World Series, Jim Schlossnagle was asked about the Texas Longhorn job opening. Less than 24 hours later, he would take the Head Coach position at the University of Texas.

Wow did not respond in way and still took the job at Texas. Not sure I’d want this guy as my head coach.
