February in Shetland

February was a cold month in Shetland and things started to go wrong in our house, but we've also started to make progress on the renovations and gardening. In this video, we not only update you about our new home and garden in Shetland, but we'll also show you another two beautiful coastal areas we've been out exploring.

Sounds like you've had some difficult setbacks..and at the worst time of year! I hope things start improving for you now and that the warmer weather will help. It would be nice to know a little of your back story if you don't mind sharing? Why Shetland? I assume you had visited the island before you moved there? What made you choose Shetland? Where were you living before? What sort of work does your husband [?] do? Stuff like that..and you have a little one too. It'll be a lovely place for your family to grow up, there's a good community spirit on Shetland I think. We had one of the nicest holidays ever in Shetland, and if we were younger we may have made the same decision you did.😁

Interesting video. What a shame you had to introduce cats to the area. Once they have gained confidence in their surroundings they’ll range far and wide - and probably make short work of any nesting birds and chicks. Nice one.
