I hate to say it, but it's probably time for another stereo. If a cleaner doesn't work, it's not worth getting it fixed. Plus now they are making cheaper ones that mirror your phone.
I had one in my 94 f150. And it was a good head unit while it lasted. I had it installed for 2 years. But a couple months ago I started the truck and the screen flipped out like normal, but the screen stayed black. Very disappointing
Hi, the answers to memory wire are on my install video. The way you program is press and hold down the station number you want. That will keep it in memory. Last question, how to program to your phone. Go to connection settings on the radio and follow the promps.

Hi, yes I got the dash kit from a Walmart you can also order it online and there is no gaps or anything it looks pretty good if you look at it there's some other videos where I video tape the same stereo and you can see the different videos there's no Gap it looks good and clean.
Is the dash kit just a universal single din kit? Or a specific one? Do I need some sort of a harness with the unit? I’m not electronically inclined . Sorry for asking so many questions.
Sweet video. I just ordered this system through crutchfield should be here by the weekend. I’m sure this isn’t the easiest to explain but how did bypass / ground the wire to the brake so that you watch videos with the car in drive? Is there a certain wire that stands out? Thanks.

Hi Melinda, that's never happened to mine, you might have a defective one. Try getting an online address and send it in for a warranty replacement or fix.
Check or move your ground wire. Plus if it's the radio only that has static then you can buy a noise reduction adaptor for your radio. If cds are also statically then its a ground. Choose a different place to ground
I am looking for a flip up radio for my mom and she gets confused with all the extra apps her other one had I don't want to add 20 apps to her phone she will never understand or use she is 73
This one is very user friendly. Once you pair her phone your done. My Mom is 77 and she uses a cell phone like a champ. Give your Mommy more credit, lol. If she can use a cell phone she can definitely use this radio.
You're going to need to buy MirrorLink off of eBay or Amazon it's called MirrorLink connections. You can also youtube how to mirror link your phone to the stereo.
How do u by pass to ground the wire u don't need to play movie .. I had to by pass the whole stereo to the battery be cause the harnessing it came with would not fit Saab even when I bought the correct harness kit for this stereo. Helllppp
It should as long as it is a singles din. Not the larger one but the smaller one. My truck is a double din in case you don't know what it looks like. Look at my video on the pioneer. Hope this helped

Hi, ok, touch the HOME button on top left. Then touch the PHONE setting. Then touch the CONNECT button on the bottom right. Then find your phone name and press on it. Be sure your bluetooth on your phone is on. Now it will connect everytime on its own

Yes, it will be marked connect to brake or "brake wire" if I remember right it's green. Hope this helps. Just ground it anywhere to the body.

It's not loud unless you use an Amp. 200 watts is what it's rated. But that peak not constant.

Yes, it should have it on the front. Mine does. You might have an older or newer model. Because of Bluetooth not all have them now.

Hi, I just grounded mine to a screw that was grounded by the door. Any metal part of the body will do. Hope this helps.

On some of these you can actually touch the time and it will take you to the menu. If not go to settings and find the time section. Hope this helps
