The phrygian mode in A reminds me of certain ragas. This mode is more east than west. Although Midas was definitely from Greek timeline and while spoken language is long lost, the musical language carries on. But then it has always been, much before the classification.
Love gives calm in darkness, and dissolution in light. Dissolution is freedom from this simulation of choice. That’s what I think.
