The Best Day Hike in Australia - Kosciuszko National Park - Clarke Gorge Walk

- In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful hikes in Australia. (Up there with the best!) Clarke Gorge Walk is a 5km return track in Kosciuszko National Park which follows Cave Creek downstream through the gorge until you reach Cooleman Falls (Otherwise known as Cave Creek Falls)
This is a grade 5 track and involves multiple water crossings. At least 10 from memory! We went in January so the water, while still cold was extremely inviting to cool off. In case you're wondering, yes the water really is this blue! It is caused by the stunning limestone formations.

You won’t be disappointed it’s amazing! You can’t quite beat blue water and gorge walls! 🙂
Woww.. Heyley where was this when we were there??? Ohhhh... We miss it.... looks amazing when did you guys went? I mean what season?
How amazing is it!! We were there in early January of this year (2019) I already want to go back!
amazing! how did you descend the fall?
There wasn't really any tracks so we just walked around a bit until we saw something that looked somewhat manageable to go down haha. There were a few different people that came and went while we were there and everyone found their way down :)
