I’ve listened to this twice and I’m sorry maybe it’s just my ear but that Martin stands out over the Yamaha. Yamaha sounds really good but Martin just sounds good
Watched the video of those two guits against each other and dont know if its the mic placement but the d18 is the standard for a reason at least in this video.

There's a reason every other dreadnaught tries to get 'compared with' a Martin - a Martin sounds like a Martin.
There are many guitars at TAS that are top-notch and stand on their own, without the need for such comparison, IMHO.
TBH - the choice is nearly overwhelming; and the proper solution is: OWN ONE OF EACH!! :0)
