If it was really happening then yes Eric would be very arrested. However its called pretend. Its acting. There's a script to it. Its not real. These stars would beg to be on a Morecambe and Wise show and would often have some input in the comedy and make suggestions. Because its not real it's what makes it funny and is brilliantly played by everyone. I reiterate... they are pretending and being very funny doing it... and obviously Diana is in on it and not being forced to do it. Big star as she is I doubt she'd need the money nor have been forced to do it under pressure. I found it offensive I don’t think it was at all funny It was sexual harassment made into a joke that I realise now , wouldn’t have helped women trying to work in professions considered only for men And were looked on as sex objects to be ridiculed. I was sexually hatrassed in my twenties in 1988 ...ad this sort of attitude to sexual harassment would have probably been why no one took me seriously when I complained.back then It’s not politically correctness it’s called respecting someone’s space and human rights. In fact I was told by my manager that If I formally complained , the abuser’s wife would find out and his marriage ruined so I was made to feel a nuisance and as though it was my fault.and told to shut up .
