The LORD of the Bible is God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ is His Son: When we include ourselves along with other individuals, we use words such as “ours,” “we,” “us,” “they,” etc. Likewise, Jesus does this when he is talking about God the Father and himself. Jesus said *“WE will come to you, and make *OUR* abode with you.” Jesus is referring to both himself and His Father, who is also _our Father_ (John 20:17). If we disobey Jesus, we will never see God the Father (John 14:23). It is through the words of Jesus that we find the teachings and the will of God the Father (John 7:16-18, John 12:48-50).
