Nice storage Stephen I have displays etc but store the bulk of mine in a 26” Oak Gerstner machinist’s chest and a jewelry stand that I converted to hang SAKs Camp Knives and Electrician’s knives I was segregating them by brand but following your lead as well as Warthogg’s I have begun setting aside a drawer for all Barlows and another for all Trapping etc I don’t have the breadth of a collection such as yours but I pay attention to you Rick our wonderful community Wonderful sub collection I typed Trappers and spell check changed it lol God bless
New UA-camrs ... take a seat, sit up, keep quiet, and learn ... this is how a knife subcollection video should post. Hi, what, why, brief compare/contrast, Hasta La Vista! Beautiful, themed subcollection from a great enthusiast. Thanks, Paddy.
Beautiful collection, great video. Patty you are an inspiration! I have a weakness for Barlows, my first knife purchase as a boy of 9 or 10. I wonder what happened to that one. Keep up the good work. Thanks, David
I always feel shorted if I buy a Barlow with only one blade. The Imperial two bladed Barlow is one I have two of. I bought them before I could drive and they sold off a cardboard stand for $3.50 retail price. They were right beside the $3 dollar pocket watches. The both of them were made in America. The pocket watches didn’t last long because you had to be careful not to wind it to tight or would quit working. You tied the watch to a piece of shoestring and to your Levies belt loop and used the watch pocket for what is was made for. If you carried your knife in a slip back then, most men might think you wore underwear backwards. I have to say my pretest Barlow I bought is a Lee White Buffalo Horn single blade Barlow. ☘🥔🔪 Happy Halloween 🎃🎃
I've definitely got collections within my collection. 😆Handle materials, brands, patterns, etc. That's a whole tray full of eye candy you've got there, buddy! Cheers!
I have an Imperial 2-bladed Barlow exactly like yours! It’s tool steel with plastic handles & stamped bolsters. I’ve had that knife since I was about 10; that was 40 years ago. I just ran out to my tool box to check it out & be sure!
FIVE! Bingo! I have the same silly limit in my brain. I need five knives in order for it to be a proper sub-collection within a collection. I really like the clip blades on the Taylor's Eye Witness. That's some beautiful Stag on the Case!
I have mine separated by makers. I keep all my Civivis together as well as my Spydercos, etc, etc... each brand has its own drawer in my wooden toolbox and other stout lidded boxes.
Gorgeous collection of Barlow's pal my favourite pattern too ,iv just had my Christopher Johnson antique Barlow re bladed by Steve cocker I'll put a picture on Instagram 👊
Wow,...Had to watch this one Twice... I want an older Barlow but my only options are Ebay and Im not Well informed on older knives...Here im Complaining but i own a 2 Acorn Barlow lol

Kaviso has a couple open box/return Boker Barlows (the real, German made ones) that normally retail for ~$175, for $60 at the moment.
The Rough Ryder tortoise shell Barlow is worth owning.
