"buy high sell higher" is better and a stock market trick, a high cost often means a faster sell.
Man it kills me when people try to bust on resellers, we pay for our stuff, take the risk, clean it up / test it , research it , list it, sell it and ship it.I try to at least triple my money, and that really doesn't give you much margin for error. Hey Man, I think the Mic is for streaming or online gaming my kids have similar ones. You gotta make decisions on the fly. I'm sure a restorer would love that radio to fix or restomod with new tech. More than once I've paid too much for a vise because I didn't look at it close enough..But the good thing is a lot of people like restoring and collecting vises. Take care.

It's all good and it doesn't matter what you pay, how much it's actually worth, or what people say as long as you hear that cha ching and you're taking care of you and yours. Keep doing you. I can promise most of those people you buy from paid way less than what you paid them for the items you buy.

You can probably get some kind of a radio tube or something and look it up to see if something's blown out on it tested with an ohmmeter on parts and you can probably pick it out and fix it good luck 🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖
