I just got my clear splatter copy of De La Soul 3 Feet High.. I was wondering how they did that, I was thinking it was more like a picture disc. Very cool.

I know I’m being a stick in the mud but why the fascination with colors and special effects in records? They don’t sound as good as I have been told and can go bad with age. Hard enough to make a good recording/pressing, I rather have it sound better than be colorful.
I never detect a sound difference between black and colored or splatter. Now the picture discs are not worth trying to play. They are only good for decor or collecting. Not for playing

Stephen - calm down baby. It’s vinyl, not the end of the world. Now, get out of your Mom’s basement go by the name Steve (you’re not 5 anymore) and go meet some people.
Not only does this video not prove your initial point, but your initial point doesn't hold much ground. I happen to own a transparent coloured record from 1985 and it sounds perfectly fine.
@@PALLASGROUPde Maybe something that doesn't come across as generic. I know that it's hard with licencing, but you could go with your own music taste, whatever that may be. It would give your videos more personality, which is never a bad thing when it comes to music industry branding. Possibly do a rotation with the people working in the plant? You do know that this pressing plant (Pallas Germany) is considered to produce the highest quality, cleanest, flattest, most faultless vinyl records in the world? Just ask an audiophile or anyone who knows about vinyl records.
Well! Now I know how to answer my vinyl-crazy friend's question as to how his splatter vinyl were made, and that no two records are the same! lol

This process needs to be in every try not to get satisfied video
Cool , I've got the John Williams vinyl that's had that done to it. Galactic splattered!
Now THAT was cool. Splatter records have been around almost since the beginning of 33 RPM discs - 1950 or so...
I've always wondered. Thans for this!
It’s like putting sprinkles on a donut lol 0:11
Can you guys make a video showing how the "swirl" style vinyl is made? I can't find any videos anywhere and I'm very curious!
Probably one colour vinyl upon another and then pressed
@@usefamin that's exactly how it's done.

@@PALLASGROUPde Hello, how do you made this paper circle you put in the stamper before splating in ? I search this so long
@@hip-hoprapstorage4440 it's paper. It would be printed then cut. That's all.
Oooh!!! That very cool it is! 😎👍
There’s something really special about colored vinyl that plain black just doesn’t have. Peace.
i love it very cool yessssssssssss
Excelente!!
What type of equipment is this?
Is the stamp inside the press? Everytime I look up videos on how they are made it never includes how they get their color.
Those pellets you saw beforehand are how they get their colour. Masses of them are melted down into the base plastic a record is made from
you make vinyl records
My Dream job!!
I swear .
I am 44 years.

I am ready to leave my job and work on a vinyl factory everyday ^^
I love vinyl

can anyone else see the bell warping?
That’s a job I actually would love to do
You’d love to stand in the same spot for 8 hours a day near a hot press doing the same 4 repetitive motions? Sounds awful to me.
@@thomascampbell7804 Not to mention that the fumes from the heated vynil cause cancer and other diseases
How do you get the records so flat? Do they need to "set" on something flat?
That timestamp doesn't show anything
They're flattened by the press, and then they get left to harden.
красота!
the way as she or him put the vinyl into the cover sleeve ita make sanse why some vinyl brand new came scratched
None of what you just said makes sense. They slipped the record into the sleeve the same way any other normal person does.
any job vacancies????
They are looking right NOW, that's why I came here. But i won't apply because I don't like cancer
how do they sound ?
The splatter sound just fine. The bi & Tri color style does affect sound quality tho

The same reason some people don't like tomatos. Everyone has different taste.
Purely aesthetics. It just looks cool and sometimes compliments the album cover very nicely. The difference in quality of sound is negligible.
I never detect a sound difference between black and colored or splatter. Now the picture discs are not worth trying to play. They are only good for decor or collecting. Not for playing
The sound does not deteriorate with age.

I prefer my vinyl to not have the outer edge cut. You can feel the music more.
A circumcision joke about vinyl lol

Those splatter colors would have looked better on transparent vinyl...
Transparent / clear vinyl is not as high quality as coloured vinyl.
Only the best music gets splatter records. Check out I Prevail’s limited press of their Trauma album. It’s sick
I would show this to anyone that argues this is as good as black vynil.
Splatter sounds a bit worse but coloured sounds exactly the same as black vinyl

It’s okay. For some people, listening to vinyl on a high end setup is like a religious experience. 😇

Why does footage of vinyl manufacturing always have to be accompanied by shitty indie rock??
