Bro you're a great, dynamic MC. The way you get out and get involved on the floor and get people involved, feel like that's a callback to how mobile DJ's of the past got the party going and there should be more of it today. Don't see it enough! Anyways, your setup, presentation and everything is on point. Thanks for some inspo and keep it going!

Thank you so much brother, that means the world to me. Been doing this for 15 plus years, and I’ve always been a believer that a DJ is more than just a guy who plays music. I want to take everyone on a journey and I want to get up those people that haven’t danced in 10 years. That’s what it’s all about for me.

I mount a TV in a similar way as you when the client pays for it, but I never thought about taking pictures during the event and displaying them. I always just play pics that they give me in advance. Anyway, I think that's a great idea! I'm sure I'd probably have to ask permission to display random pics of guests like that though. Thanks for the inspiration!

Of coarse. Thank you very much for your support. So my contract states that anytime a client purchases a package with a tv. I will display a slideshow with their pictures during event as well as take 150 pictures of the event and I play them up there as the night goes by. People love seeing them during the event and will often cause lots of laughter. After then event is over I give all the pictures to client. But I always remind them that they are not professional pictures but just good memories and you will receive them much faster then your photographer’s images.

Great stuff Brian. I appreacite all your effort in explaining what you've learnt about the various BassBoss speakers. I am thinking of purchasing the SV9's. I need the speakers to comfortably cover max 100 people dancing in small commercial venues, and large houses. Will the SV9 serve this need without straining? Currently I've KS12.2s. And Which BassBoss sub would you recommend? Cheers.

The SV9 is a perfectly balanced sounding cabinet. I have a single review on it but to get its full potential you always need a sub and then you can run them on a high pass preset. From my experience with them 2 sv9 and 1 bb15 is perfect for say a small room up to 100 people. 2 sv9 and 2 bb15 I’d say up to medium room for 150 people. 2 tops and 2 subs is a stellar combo like used in this video. First part of video was 150 people in a medium room. Second part 150 people in a large room and then second was 120 in a medium room and it sounds great for all. For the big room my big system could have been used but the way the room was setup with the dance floor at the end it was cool because you could have really nice loud dance floor music but still hear it well all over them room. Hope this helps anything else
      Let me know :)

But for sure the BB15MK3 for the size and it’s insane! It keeps up with my DV12 tops

QSC k12 are great also if your not using without a sub I don’t know if it’s worth it. The SV9 will sounds better but I don’t think it can be louder. I mean the woofer is 3 inches smaller. The SV9 even in full range has the perfect tone to my year but you can go crazy with it because it’s only 9” woofer unless you have a sub then you high pass it and kill it haha

Super valuable feedback Brian! Confirms that for 95% of my gigs the SV9s would be ideal and thus worth the 'investment'. Regarding the subs, agree two DJ15's would make be ideal, but would x1 BassBoss DJ18 be both cheaper and easier to transport vs. x2 DJ15's?@@DJBrianRodrigues

Here's why I, we, value your insight and sharing the knowledge Brian- you've 'put your money where your mouth is' and invested a significant sum into your sound system choice. Cheers@@DJBrianRodrigues
