When you said “I just thought about being engaged with a Polly ring”. That really made me laugh! Also since I’m here, I’ve been watching your videos for a while. I’m not in to Polly Pocket, nor was I when I was a kid, but I really like watching your videos. I wish we could’ve seen you unbox this one as I like seeing that part too 😊
At first I thought it was weird that the Polly statue was skin toned underneath and then painted white rather than being cast in white plastic. I actually like the rubbed off bits because it does feel very aged and whimsical. I love the hot air balloon one that you got and can't wait to see more of it.
Dream World brings back so many memories, I spent hours playing with it as a kid and loved the 'secret' exit from the roof. It was released in time for the Christmas season in the U.K. (1991 I think but not certain) and I'm told my Grandmother and Aunt teamed up to go to as many local toy shops as possible to get hold of it for me. Sadly it's one of the few sets I had from new as a child to get any notable damage, both because it was hard to store and I found it difficult to open the front of the house so would pull on the balustrade of the porch, but I think it's still in my parent's attic with all its pieces. My favourite set in this video though is the Garden Surprise. I've never seen that set before and it's in incredible condition. Enjoy it.
The hot air balloon is definitely the best one!
I'm so excited to have it!

Don't worry, another unboxing (true unboxing) is coming right up!

Yesssssss! I will do the full tour soon so you can relive it without having to dig it out for now :)
@Holly Pocket Vintage Toys can't wait for the tour on this one because a friend passed hers onto me and I would love to work out what missing.
the statue figure being able to bend feels like something out of a polly pocket themed horror movie
Bahaha yeah. Or like those street performers who paint themselves as statues. A great way to scare someone!
These look so amazing!! So happy for your collection
Most are either eBay or from other collectors I get to know.
How much have you payed for the surprise garden one? 🤗 im missing it but its soooo expensive 😣
It ... cost a bit 😂
Why did you think it was a dad selling it? Sorry for the random question lol
