Sun debilitated in Libra the sign that rules western direction and sun sets in the West (America) so no wonder the righteousness, dharma, work ethic, soul concept is not very pronounced in the America and also maximum divorce happens.

@hippienerd2013 some basic way is: crrate a chart considering the one where the moon sits as first. This will be your moon chart . Now check the 1st,4th,7th,10th house of both moon chart and birth chart. Whichever has these houses stronger ,that chart will be considered more stronger. Sometimes both chart comes out stronger.
BPHS itself says debilitated planets work well in dusthana houses (6,8,12) unless not afflicted. dont you think sun in 6th house and in exalted state may give you ability to fight off enemies but then increase the effects of 6th house to a considerable extent, so isnt it better to have a debilitated sun in 6th house so as to not provide much enemies , obstacles at all??

I came to an astrologer who said the ancient vedic astrolger books used tropical system with the *signs* and that all of the texts are indeed from the tropical text. And that the nakshatra's are fixed stars and completely diffrent than the zodiac signs. I don't see any indian vedic astrolger going fully on nakshatra astrology, always they make calculations with zodiac signs and uses siderael calculations with it and it's really confusing.
Well, he must be lying. Indians aren't only great astrologers but also astronomers and sidereal calculations are mostly accurate with the real sky. Why would we believe in tropical astrology instead of what we can see through a telescope and reliable scientific data is beyond me.

I lived in Singapore as a child and my wife is from o/s as Surya looks at 12th bhava containing Mangala and Ketu along the 7th aspect.

Best way is to offer arghya (water) to the sun daily. Allowance of wearing ruby depends on other placements as well.
