I wish haha! glad they came off sounding realistic. Had to do a couple of takes sometimes to make sure they really sounded spontaneous and conversational.
The ending with the turning head was genius, because you've lost all the tension as a viewer, thinking it's over... and then the head turns and it really hits you harder. As always, your storytelling is impeccable!
i think this is technically and creatively your best work yet! can’t imagine the amount of planning and editing and time spent filming that went into this. you stay putting out hits and deserve wayyyyy more attention on your longer form videos here. also, thank you for making your CC so clear and specific! accessibility queen
omg thank you so much! It was definitely one of the most challenging videos I've ever done in terms of planning out the camera movements. I rehearsed and blocked each scene before shooting to figure it out. (and thank you for CC feedback -- this one was a balance of being detailed enough without them being confusing)
You had me genuinely wigged out multiple times watching this home alone. That was the phrase my brain went to so I’m leaving the pun there but it genuinely wasn’t intended. You did an excellent job with this!
Damn, I was TERRIFIED the whole time, you are so good at this!! I'm not the biggest fan of horror movies (especially ones that have have nothing but jumpscares), but this one had me tensing up for every scene. I'm still a little shaken after seeing the end with Bailey haha, and I'm glad I was one of those who voted for found footage in your poll! Keep being amazing
This is legit indistinguishable from every found footage I've ever seen and I'm obsessed. What genre can't you do like it's insane. I almost missed the eyes on the mannequin head toward the beginning hahaha it's like I couldn't stop laughing but also I was scared. Great job 👍🏻👍🏻
I was very on the fence about keeping the eyes moment in because it's so silly, but I was like meh, the weird dichotomy of silly/scary is kind of part of the whole thing. Plus, I figured people might miss it!! thank you so much!
This was really fantastic. You take on the production constraints of parody, but then you figure out ways to make things that actually WORK, which is amazing. I love seeing all the layers of inventiveness. Reminds me of making movies as a kid, which is such a fun feeling. Thanks for that. And yes, I jumped. Well done.
I nannied for a long time and one of the kids got super into making movies on her ipad, and I think of that all the time when I make these. Kids will truly make anything work when they are playing. A sense of possibility goes a long way.
I watched this alone in the dark and I legit got scared. This was a better found footage than creep, and honestly scared me almost as much as the haunting of Deborah Logan. Good found footage always gets me
Not me here with my wig obsession and owning like 50, plus a mannequin head, legit terrified. Wiggy Azalea is going to stay in my closet forever now. Great job with all the background elements! I love how creative you are as a 1 woman show!
INSANE!!!! the scene where you see the door to the wardrobe in the mirror gave me CHILLS lol I was ready for a jump scare! It is insane how well you pull all of this off alone with NOTHING to be complained about! Hats off!
That was amazing... the atmosphere is truly filled with rising tension and anxiety. This is way beyond funny silly parodies, the work on the writing, the ambiance, everything is very impressive!
@@Caroline_Klidonas nooo, you can take it as a compliment, it was so well directed and edited, really high quality stuff, loved it, gave me the creeps tho 😅 (also, I watched at nighttime 🫠)
I am TERRIFIED. Omg this was amazing, I am so impressed! I kept thinking I’d see the cuts but the editing is immaculate. And the ending! With the turning wig! Incredible. Just… next level.
I love the way you built tension in this and her writing the horror story was such a fun mechanic. It was creepy and perfect. I know you make these alone…so who turned the head?
Your talent is absolute sorcery to me. You are such an absolute delight I feel so absolutely lucky to be able to witness this stuff. Thank you so much.
wait i had to stop it and chill because i got freaked the fuck out 😂 this is SO GOOD literally one of your best (and i've seen very video you've made like a thousand times). go OFF queen
This was so good, oh my goodness. Idk a lot about video editing, but I imagine it must've taken a while to piece this all together, as well as the audio, like the way fact that it was only you speaking and yet there were multiple times more than one person was speaking and it genuinely sounded like they were in the room together was just incredible. Seriously, this was so impressive, and the story as a whole was super fascinating. I can't wait to see what other projects you put out in the future!
Watching this I went from “this is pretty cool” to being completely invested and immersed in the story. I forgot I was watching something produced by one person in her apartment. These movies have grabbed my attention and pulled me in more than 95% of the movies and shows I watch lately. So glad I found this channel. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner. Please keep the content coming.
This was soooo good! I watched it before bed and kind of regretting it now 😆 Also was laughing at the "Rejuvenate" writing on the poster... That's when I remembered who I'm actually watching 😂
you are so so good at this! i don't usually get scared by horror movies but this actually freaked me out a little. i'm glad you didnt overdo the jumpscares, i often find that too many jumpscares can make a movie feel stale and predictable. all the little details were so well done and your acting is amazing as always!
This is amazingly creative and well done like far out, the conversations sounded so real i thought there was other people in the background at first. 10/10 🎯
I’m just so curious how you got your voice to be in the background of the other videos when the other characters are talking like that is so COOL. You kill it EVERY. TIME.
Caroline, you’re such an amazing artist! I look forward to seeing your career as an actor and writer grow!! Keep going, you’re doing amazing work! This was great!
This was absolutely incredible!! I’ve been following your work since the Rune series was being posted to TikTok and I’ve been absolutely obsessed with everything you’ve created since then. Considering how masterfully done Rune was, this really just shows how you continue to improve with everything you make and I look forward to seeing you actually writing, directing or acting in films some day. Awesome job!

the way i yelled “THAT MF JUST MOVED” at the end 💀
the layered voice lines & sounds are so realistic & well executed i seriously wondered if u had friends helping u before rereading the title

HOW YOU DO THIS AS ONE PERSON IS JUST MINDBLOWING!!
I mean, you did have someone help turn the wig at the end, of course.. right? Right……?
Nope. Was all me!!

This is so creepy! Especially because it’s like 5 AM and I keep hearing footsteps even though no one else is home
The work you do always makes me forget it’s always one person! You’re so incredible at what you do, for real!
OKAY THE FRAMING IN THE MIRROR THOUGH why are u so good
I was actually terrified... I. AM. IN. AWE. OF. YOU. I want you to write and star in all the movies... as all the characters lol
The end scene reminded me of Laura Hollis in season 1 of Carmilla! Really enjoyed this!
