@marianne mccrank it depends. althouh that depends of how bad the bullying is. because sadly there is a sad chance it is indeed that's the possibility of said bullying. but it is not universal. sometimes people bully others because they are dicks. or sometimes because "that's how they treat each other and assume other kids can handle it but don't realize they are stepping out of the line an consider the bullied kid a weak whiner". there are different possibilites in the spectrum
I don't think I've ever actually heard of bullies are ever people that like you. It's always come off badly to me when they do it in shows. But I can say that "antagonism" can suggest endearment. Relationships that involve a lot of back and forths, being aloof, teasing, perhaps even conflict in the form of, say, lecturing. These things can suggest someone cares or is interested, be a form of trying to impress or get attention, or be a sign that someone is comfortable acting casually with you, things like that. I mean, that's kinda what I've picked up over the years at least. And I think that's what these shows are kinda going for, generally, but they're doing it wrong usually.
@@onimaxblade8988 yeah, it depends. is like tsunderes, or "jerks with hearts of gold", or "lovable bullies" (especific example, Bufford from Phineas and Ferb, at least post season 2 where his relationship with baljeet sometimes borders on an elder borhter sometimes hitting a little brother not out of malice, but due to "rough play"; OR Flash Thomson in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon especially once character development starts kicking in and by the time season 2 ended he was arguably a kinda distant "friend/acquantaince" of peter). writing those types of characters can give BIG payoffs, BUT there is a fine line to write them. you have to write them sympathethic enough so (in case of a bully character) you kinda get why they bully someone, but character development kicking in so he/she want to change his/her ways. Another example of a "bully character" whose characterization fails, even though you get it (like kinda the girl mr. enter said in his video whose name i forgot), would be Bakugo from My Hero Academia. wehenever you try to write a bully, you have to a least show early on hints of the bully being likable. even in malcolm in the middle, even at its worst they tried to make reese likable (at least either as the butt of the joke and him getting comeuppance or as a chew toy of the series). it is always difficult to write a good "likable bully" or "jerk with heart of gold" or "tsundere" without eiher making the character "too jerk" or "not jerk enough"
"If a girl harasses a boy, that means she likes him!" Yeah, let's see how that sounds when you gender flip it. And considering what happened with the show's creator...
Joel Bissainthe "sexual harassment" is sugar coating what that monster did. He had a history of blacklisting women who wouldn't give him the time of day.
Alec Foisy I find it hypocritical When a man abused or ruined a woman life we should hate the person and when a woman abused or ruined a man life it’s ok and means love bulls***
I've said it once and will say it again, "they're mean to you because they like you" only works if you do it like Hey Arnold did with Helga. You don't even have to give the bully a dramatic backstory, just actually SHOW that deep down they do like and care for their target and just lack the social skills or confidence to act like it. And having them try to move past that is also good. Roger in Doug is also a decent example, only without the romantic angle: he's a jerk to Doug, but later episodes show he actually likes and trusts him. Or Angelica, who picks on the babies out of jealousy because they get all the attention and she thinks she's too big for their games. (That said, Girl Trouble was a legitimately bad episode of HA because the show is BETTER than the tired old trope of Selective Enforcement, and it's never been afraid to let Helga face consequences for her behavior.)
@MisAnthro Pony this is honestly pretty shocking. I never watched Hey Arnold so I always thought it was impossible to make a Trope like this actually good
In its prime, Fairly Oddparents actually beat SpongeBob in ratings, and up until maybe the latter part of the Poof era, consistently rivaled SpongeBob.
Upon its premiere, The Fairly OddParents was immediately popular and quickly became the second-highest-rated children's program among kids ages 2-11 on both network and cable television, behind Nick's own SpongeBob SquarePants. The Fairly OddParents managed to briefly steal SpongeBob's spot as the number one highest rated children's television program in mid-2003.
"It has a pretty unique concept if you don't watch Anime" Thank you, now I imagined the Loud House as an Harem-Anime with Lincoln as the Dense-Protagonist, living with his Adoptive/Sisters from other Parents. (Shudder)
Even adoptive sister harems don't really surpass 2 or 3 girls. Any harem beyond that is just a group of random girls and the childhood friend, who is actually the best girl that the author never ships them with and ticks off the fanbase. (F**k you Love Hina.) Anything beyond that is probably hentai.
@@Maniacman2030 Honestly, I dislike Harem anime and even I noticed that as well. The main character is often only in love with one girl and yet the author keeps teasing hin with other (and probably more interesting) girls. Harem animes are so predictable that I noticed it at watching a few minutes of 2-3 of them.
So, it's everyday life now for nothing but toilet humor, and if you don't agree with your siblings, the solution is to beat the shit out of them? If this is every day life, child services has a much harder job then they let on
Really?! That's cool! I've been wanting to do a book series on my family's life, fir I, too have a large family. 12 siblings, me being the second youngest of 13 children.
You wouldn't believe the rule 34s I've seen man, it's pretty messed up considering half them are like, 10 maybe or less. On that note all the sisters attempt to corner and possibly rape the teacher (plus the apparently female pets). Who greenlit that? Not to mention the lesbian pair want him too? Have so continuity
@@YaBoiBrendo I never really understood, and to some extent don't understand why some cartoons did the "chop off the parent's/other adults faces trope" only exception being Mrs Bellum from the Powerpuff Girls. Craig McCracken is known for the trope, of Hide certain Parents/other adult characters faces.
I’m actually glad Nickelodeon didn’t pick _Adventure Time,_ because, if they did, it would have never had the opportunity to be good. Nickelodeon wouldn’t have treated it with respect and care like Cartoon Network did.
You know adventure time would be just another sanjay & Craig / breadwinners had nickelodeon took it so yeah we should be glad that cartoon network took instead
Adventure time was only good it's first 2 seasons, after that it was just a mess trying really hard to be deep adding too much lore and that revolting story.
Helga is literally the only character that "if the person bullies you, they like you," is pulled off expertly, all the others suck because with Helga she had more of a personality and Helga on the Couch gave her a reason to act the way she does. Also, the Loud House is O.K. It's not great, it's just fine...but I am worried Nick will overrely on it until something else flukes its way onto the network.
I disagree. Say what you want about the Loud House’s execution on the trope. But take the time to remember Helga had a freaky Arnold shrine in her closet!
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 Well, the shrine building was depicted as an unhealthy obsession. It's made pretty clear that her family's neglect had left Helga unable to process her emotions in a healthy manner. Also, I kinda preferred Jimmy and Cindy's portrayal a bit more, if only because Jimmy would actually fight back.
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 The shrine was meant to be freaky, though. Helga's feelings were real, but she couldn't process them in a healthy way. She had her diaries and poetry, but the shrine was meant to show how desperately lonely she was and how she wished Arnold would love her back, but feared he never would.
Yeah, with the exception of one episode, Helga is a great example of the whole "bully girl bullies boy b/c she likes him." I sure as heck have mixes views on Ronnie Ann.
In Helga’s case, it’s unhealthy and toxic either way. Maybe she wouldn’t actually be abusive in a relationship, but she’s more likely to go the other extreme with her obsessive tendencies
"The show has to end with one of the parents saying let's have another." *Me* Why does this sound like something Lincoln's parents would _totally_ do?!
@@Guy-zf6bx From what I heard the reason for that is the show was too expensive to make episodes for. Though if you're looking for awful unfair treatment to their shows than look what happened to Making Fiends.
Yeah, I hated the whole, "if a girl bullies you they like you", message. Mainly because, I was bullied to Hell and back in elementary school. Most of my bullies were guys, but a few were girls. I was bullied because I was a fat kid who talked a lot, told bad puns, and was even a little weird. Now that I'm older, I've grown up from that. I've thinned up, and I let others talk. I still love telling jokes and being strange though, since that's just me. But every girl I was ever bullied by did NOT like me. Hell, one of them had a boyfriend, who was legitimately nice to me, and got her to stop picking on me. One girl kicked me in the nuts because I thought she liked me! So, if any show creator ever sees this comment, remember this!
Yeah. This is why I never liked the tsundere archetype. There’s a fine line between being a little rough around the edges because you want to hide that you have a crush and outright bullying them. I think in laid back situations it could work, like say a group of friends where two characters will pick on each other or something. But nothing that goes to the extent of actually hurting each other’s feelings. And when you take into account a lot of “cute” tsunderes outright beat up their love interests, yeah, that’s really bad.
@@dragonlover439 yeah. Anime is able to get away with this trope most of the time, because they go so over the top with it for comedic purposes. Like in Shimoneta, the characteter Anna frequently threatens the main character and his friends becuase she LITERALLY doesn't know any better. Literally, she was never taught anything about relationships, sex, how to deal with her emotions, and the way she threatens people with stuff like knives, vacuum cleaners, vegetables and tongs are pretty much only for comedic purposes, not really for the story. But most western cartoons will make the trope too realistic to actual bullying, rather than full on crazy or laid back jabs at each other.
My least favorite episode of them all has to be "No Such Luck." Every character acts like an idiot - including Lisa, y'know, the super-smart and logical one who doesn't believe in superstitions (she even states in the episode, but is immediately convinced that bad luck exists by one of Lincoln's more obvious and cruddy lies) - and the episode ends in an injustice. The character that was unjustly tortured all episode doesn't receive reconciliation and is instead mistreated further when his family openly and without remorse admits that they sold all of his furniture and are now forcing him to live the rest of his life in a squirrel costume out of superstition. This episode makes me FUME. The episode flat out implies that the family was willing to ABANDON Lincoln because they thought he was a bad luck charm. I wouldn't hate this episode if Lincoln's parents and Lisa acted as the voices of reason and tried to dispel the paranoia that the other siblings were experiencing to no avail, but instead they act just as gullible as the other characters and literally abandon Lincoln to live on the streets. It's like they were trying to earn my ire.
@@zzz43344 It was where they wanted the special deal at the burger place in a huge snowstorm. Their next door neighbor they wanted to improve his Christmas with in the first special ruined his character, because he wouldn't get them out of the snow when they were stuck.
I just can't get into this series but I WILL give the show this: It based one episode around competing on Legends of the Hidden Temple. Gotta love how at least SOMEONE at modern Nick acknowledges the channel's legacy.
To an extent. I'm still waiting for SOME kind of acknowledgement of the pre-Nicktoons era, and I mean _besides_ the occasional YCDToTV rerun on The Splat. I bet even when Nick's 50th anniversary happens on December 1, 2027*, they're going to just ignore it. (*Or April 1st, 2029, depending on whether you're looking at the actual launch date or when they first started being branded _as_ "Nickelodeon" instead of "Pinwheel".)
To spite all the problems The Loud House has it always manages to find ways to get me to like it again, Even after the abomination that was 'No such luck' the show managed to win me back with 'Frog Wild'
It's like _Dreamworks._ One year or so, they'll dump _Boss Baby_ or _Shark Tale_ in your lap, but then they'll give you _How To Train Your Dragon_ or _Prince Of Egypt._
"Loud House" is a solid cartoon for the most part, and it's even a good contender for one of my top 10 favorite Nicktoons. When the interactions between Lincoln and his sisters work, they can be really endearing. I also admire this show for being bold enough to include gay characters, like Clyde's fathers and Sam, while still making them genuine characters. Another thing I love is this show's art style, which has a great comic book aesthetic and amazing expressions. The character designs alone are absolutely adorable, especially on the kids. Of course this show has its fair share of flaws. Besides the first episodes dealing with Ronnie Anne, there's certainly been a number of bad episodes with warped messages. The humor can also get a little mean-spirited at times, mainly some of the earlier episodes like the one that introduced Ronnie Anne (off-screen) and a certain infamous episode that shall not be named. As for the April Fools episodes, I actually quite enjoy them. I like to think of them as this show's answer to the 'Treehouse of Horror' episodes of "The Simpsons," which would at least make Luan's insane behavior somewhat tolerable. Plus, I just love how insane some of these pranks can get, which enhances the show's cartoony nature.
I liked all the April fools episodes They were kinda like a take on the trope of “antagonist tries to screw people over but gets punished in the end for their actions” and they do it very nicely, well not really April fools rules, that one did it weaker then the other 2, but I still found it tolerable Plus, seeing luan as a crazy antagonist villain was extremely entertaining to watch, it came off as an interesting spin on her character, and it was also satisfying to see her get punished in the end for her actions I hope my take makes sense
Those April Fools episodes always reminded me of Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry mixed with Home Alone. Especially considering Savino watched Looney Tunes as a kid according to the Loud House Wiki.
1:58 If it was an anime, Lincon would be A LOT closer to his sisters, if you know what I mean. And considering that the creator also created Eddie Puss, that probably wouldn't bother him
the loud house kind of reminds of Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, a ton of characters in a single building, and they are both good shows with a lot of bad episodes
@@Commenter839 I thought that one was fine, a little unfair of an ending but most of it was funny. I rewatched the whole show recently and pretty much enjoyed every episode
@@bathroomshy There is no such thing as a perfect show, there's always methods that could be taken to make them better. Imposters Home for um Make em up Pals is my personal least favorite. Unlike everyone knows it's Bendy, Goofball John McGee recieves NO PUNISHMENT WHATSOEVER for constantly ruining Frankie's time, and Mr. Herriman is completely out of character the entire episode, constantly sucking Goofball's dick and letting him get away with whatever he wants, just because he's new.
Shy characters have a hard time cause they tend to be low in confidence, a nearly universal aphrodisiac. They’re far easier to overlook compared to a tsundere and at worst could even develop into the stalker archetype.
"The show feels fresh if you haven't watched alot of Anime" Me: Eh, can't be That similar. "This episode focuses on all the sister's falling for they're brother's tutor" Me:...nevermind.
The “Bully who harasses you, likes you” trope angers me as well because it teaches children that is okay. Everyone at one point was bullied in school and teaching this stupid thing to children is going to put their health and safety at risk. If a bully harasses you, it’s harassment!
@marianne mccrank Agreed, the people behind the episode Heavy Meddle really should've known better. That type of behavior is just inexcusable, and I honestly expected better from the Loud House...
“If they bully you, they like you.” Tell that to the guy who wouldn’t stop touching me freshman year of highschool and then told everyone I was crazy and oversensitive for reporting him.
It’s weird. The message is that if a girl bullies you, she likes you. But if a boy does the same, he’s labeled as abusive. The message states every female bully is a tsundere who is misunderstood while every male bully is simply abusive. *SEXISM*
Brendan Greene yeah that’s why I hate the Tsundere trope. No one, regardless of gender, should have to go through what I did or god forbid something worse. And Tsundere’s kinda normalize it. That isn’t something we want to normalize.
"The show HAS to end with one of the parents saying 'Let's have another!'" Also, at least one of the kids has to react to that XD As I mentioned before, there's apparently a fanfic that did a "gender-flipped version of the family" thing right, though fair warning, it has a lot of supernatural elements (including a Bill Cipher expy) and the reveal that Lincoln's female counterpart, Linka, is actually evil.
No, that's too much. For all we know maybe Lynn Sr had vasectomy and Rita had a tubal ligation. No, what the show needs to end on is with Lincoln finally standing up for himself.
1. Mr. & Mrs. Loud have some seriously determined sperm and eggs! GOOD LORD!!! 2. If the show was to end with the parents saying, "Let's have another [kid]!", all the kids yell in unison "NO!" Even the baby Lilly says, "No more babies."😆
Dartzian there is a webcomic called brawl in the family that some consider to be one of the best webcomics of all time before it ended.

The Loud girls creeping on Lincoln's tutor was even more cringeworthy than all the times when Clyde pursued Lori. And the "if a girl bullies you, that means they like you" trope. Even in 2016, it's still horrible.
Guess what tho? I gave this video a DISLIKE! Oooo how you feel about that fanboy? You gonna cry me a river? Boo hoo! "Mommy, someone hates my show". LOL xD
IKR! I was hoping to God that even if Mr. Enter still liked The Loud House, he would be critical towards it throughout all this time! And I was right all this time!
Nah Henry Danger is garbage. The only good live action shows Nick made were Drake and Josh, iCarly, Victorious, and idk about Zoey 101 but a lot of people liked it apparently.
I agree. I don’t understand why Nick bothers with Live action. A lot of their most recent shows are dull and aren’t doing well in the ratings except Henry Danger (which I’ll never get why).
Up front, as a comic strip artist/cartoonist, I absolutely adore this art style. It's nice to see an appreciation for something that so many keep heralding as a dead medium (yes, I work in a dead medium haha). And the premise is kind of funny to me because my grand-aunt and grand-uncle actually did have 10 kids (including a set of twins), and I've heard so many stories about having all those kids under one roof. That said, aspects of this show like how the characters all just seem to be archetypes and the fact that every time someone shares a joke from it it's a joke I've seen as far back as black-and-white sitcoms and movies (I'm pretty sure a few of these are as old as Vaudeville, where those sitcoms and movies stole them from) keeps me from being interested enough to check it out. I might eventually get to it, but I'm really in no rush. Also, yes. The "if a person harasses/picks on you, it means they like" trope needs to die. It's fine to address that some kids do that before they mature enough to express their emotions appropriately, but also address that a) it's still inappropriate and they need to learn that it is and b) you are not a bad person for wanting your personal space and for disliking people that violate it.
3:54. I think having all the sisters have four letter names beginning with L was an intentional decision by the creators to make them easy to remember. With 13 main characters (parents included), giving vastly different names like Abigail, Skylar, Eli, Grace, Charlotte etc. to the characters would most likely disorientate the viewer on who was who in spite of their unique traits. It also helps that each character has their own unique color , which they wear on their clothes, to help them stand out.
I really think we should also talk about how this show tends to treat Lincoln in terms of his status as a boy. Sometimes his sisters act like they know better than him, even though their ways of handling situations goes hilariously/horribly wrong 90% of the time.
The loud house, to me, holds a special place in my heart as my favorite Nicktoon. The reason being, is cause it took me back to when I used to watch Nick cartoons all the time. I first got in the show around 2017, when the second season was airing. I did see promos of it back in 2016. But I was hesitant at first. Due to the fact the premise didn't sound engaging and I thought Nick would just toss it to the side for more SpongeBob. Which made it more surprising when it got more ratings than SpongeBob and become the network's second biggest series. Even getting graphic novels, chapter books, and a upcoming movie for Netflix. And when I started to watch episodes myself, I got hooked, thanks to the very memorable characters and the fact that I started to take a liking to Lincoln. Thanks to his very likable personality and that I think him speaking to the audience was a nice touch. It's not perfect, I'll admit. I fell season 1 hasn't aged that well. Like Enter said, Ronnie Ann wasn't likable to me at all. And it took until season 2 for me to start liking her a little. There's also the sisters acting like unlikable jerks. Like how in Sleuths Or Consequences, when Lucy is about to tell her sisters she reads princess pony, Luan gleefully says that someone will become the laughing stock of the house and Lori, when she and the others think Lincoln reads princess pony, says they'll mock him for the rest of his life. Season 1 gave off this mean spirited tone that made it hard to like the sisters at times. Blaming Lincoln for stuff that was clearly their fault, yet they just used Lincoln as a scapegoat most of the time. The first half of season 2 was no better. With Brawls in the family and the infamous, no such luck. With Lincoln being locked out of his house, cause his family think he's bad luck. What made me continue to watch though, was the heart. I could tell the show had heart and talent. Which is why I like the second half of season 2 more. Cause the writers slowly became more comfortable writing for the characters and toned down the mean spirited tone, to the point it's no longer there. Season 3 and 4 show the characters in a better light. Clyde doesn't steal the spotlight so much. And the sisters are much more likable, to the point I always enjoy seeing them. With Luna and Leni being my favorite sisters of the show. The Loud house is a show I'm happy to be a fan of. And I look forward to seeing what season 4 and beyond has to offer.
@@zzz43344I especially look forward to how season five handles the Louds. Cause that season I heard might age up the Louds a little. I look forward to how that's handled.
I Despise Sleuth so much i wish Lincoln pulled a Patrick " No Body Calls me Tubby !" pow right in the kisser . Plus the Total Dramarama episode with little Gwen's poodle toy did this plot better as unlike the sisters the other kids had NO interests in making fun of Gwen so yeah what does it say about Lori who is 17 when Little Duncan who is now 4 is MORE mature than her To not mock someone for their habits .
@@NicholasRSims Yeah, the moment a little kid is more mature than the oldest sister, shows the writers of Total Dramarama know how to make their main characters likable. Really, season 1 has not aged well. I understand it was the first time we were getting to know the Louds and the writers weren't so sure how to write them. But really, it amazed me how mean spirited that season could get. Same goes for the first half of season 2. With Brawls in the Family and No Such Luck really going too far and makes me think they didn't think through what they were writing. I'm just glad they finally toned that down and made the sisters more likable.
3:25 Yeah she's very annoying to the other characters and me. Quips from Regular Show is a much funnier written version of this character type in my opinion.
I feel guilty for finding her puns pretty darn funny. That and seeing her play as a sort of "Joker Villan Parody" during April fools put a smile on my face
I still love it back in 2017, I still love it now, Even the bad episodes won't stop me watching, And it's certainly better than tons of Nick sticoms, There I said it.
Just like how the bad episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants don't stop me from watching the show. Heck, I've watched every episode of SpongeBob SquarePants and I still love the show.
The "Save The Date" episode would be funny if Ronnie also started bullying and picking on _Lori_ (like passive-aggressively insulting her looks, shooting spitballs at her, kicking her under the seat, etc.) and Lori pretends to be nice to her for Bobby's sake but all the while she's three seconds from _snapping._
regarding the "they bullying you because they like you" cliche: I think part of this mentality comes from the way boys and girls are raised so differently, boys especially. They're taught in a million small ways that showing affection and sentimentality is "sissy stuff" and "girly", but being tough and violent is "cool" and "manly". So you end up with boys who genuinely like other girls and maybe want to be friends, but they don't want to be seen as "sissies", so they bully them because they have no other, healthier outlet for their emotions.
That sounds so very... stereotypical. Pretty sure most normal people don't teach their sons that violence is cool or manly. Raised differently, yes, but taught to be violent? No. Boys and Girls are raised differently because they behave and interact differently. That's why interactions between them at adolescence tend to clash. To clarify, behavior might shift due to social interaction with other children. They don't understand why girls behave and play as they do and vice versa. They know how to engage friendship with others of the same sex, but not each other. Actually, that's no different than adult behavior, really. Just a different context.
@DJHart it's really not indirect teaching so because that implies we did it on purpose It comes from natural instinct, humans have an incredibly long gestation period and very, very vulnerable offspring compared to quite a lot of the animal kingdom. As such men had to be the hunters, otherwise their tribes would starve if the hunting team got pregnant. The man will always be naturally more competitive and more tough, while the women will always be more emotional and more caring because they had to be caretakers for our vulnerable infants while the men went out hunting. That's just how we evolved
The top 5 Loud sisters in my opinion ranked the best #1 Leni: Who can even bring themselves hate this character? Sure, she can be slow and completely witted, but she makes up for that with her purity and compassion towards others #2 Luna: Dunno why she's considered Lincoln's guardian in the fandom, but it's very believable considering she's never hesitant to help him out. Those epic songs she sings get stuck dancing in your head, and her love for Sam gives her beating heart a rhythm she can't handle, it's adorable that she tries her best to perform awesomely for her #3 Lana: She goes great lengths to save and protect animals, and fixes everything that's broke in her sight, especially when it comes to the bond of her siblings. #4 Lucy: Most of us can feel her pain, not gaining enough attention from others, as well as family, but that never stops her from living her life in the arts and showing us how much love she could ever give, all while being unique #5 Luan: Even in the darkest of situation she can see the light and still manage to make a joke about everything. Like Lucy, she lives her life in the arts, and expresses her emotions very well through theater and puppetry, way more than she can herself. While Luan can sometimes be obnoxious, she can do so much as make anyone's day
Not a bad list, but I can't see Luan as anything other than an unempathetic sociopath after all her April Fools episodes. She only ever shows regret for her actions if it is the setup for another prank, or there are consequences directly affecting her.
@@commonviewer2488 I remember the episode where she stops pulling pranks because everyone complains about it behind her back, but oh no, she's sad now, better let her do the funny again. That's not how it works. You need to control your inner clown, you're the problem, not everyone else.
Bc the “protag lives with a bunch of ppl of the opposite gender” AKA harem premise has spawned some of the worst and most cliché anime of all time (and judging by this comment, Enter is aware...) The Loud House is what got me to watch Nickelodeon again. And I must admit while it does get too overhyped and does have it's problems with it's characters (they ranged from enjoyable to irritating, looking at that Environmental and Jinked Episode) the show has it's charm.

The loud house, a show I lost a lot of interest in, very quickly. I dont think it's bad now, but there are definitely stinkers, such as the episode where the family is forced to tell the truth due to a lie detector, and we learn that lying is a good thing, even when someone is asking you for your honest opinion about their work...ugh
I agree with you there. That episode really fucked up its moral. It tried to go for "it doesn't hurt to tell a little white lie every now and then", but instead the moral came out as "it's okay to lie about anything, even in cases where it would be better to be honest with someone".
While I definitely agree that episode was terrible, I still enjoy watching the show to this day, nonetheless. It's one of my favorite Nicktoons of all time.
Yeah. I forgot what episode I left off at. It wasn't when Luna got a girlfriend. It was something else. Maybe the greenhouse epsiode? While i feel that the "if a girl bullies you, they like you" is a cliche, i think that the two other nicktoons, Hey Arnold and The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius are the two best takes of it not just on Nickelodeon, but in cartoons in general. I think both relationships (Arnold/Helga and Jimmy/Cindy) was nicely set up at the beginning, and it slowy built overtime, with the characters going through some great character development and becoming closer by the end of their run!
The whole "kids who bully you, means they like you" is the most toxic message to teach a child or a teenager because it can lead into destructive relationships.
"If someone bullies you, it means that they are really in love with you." That must mean that all the neo-Nazis on my doorstep actually love me. Now I know and knowing is half the battle.
This video needed to be longer. So much has happened with this show, on and off screen. As for Luan, she is not the same crappy pun prankster as she was in seasons 1 and 2.
I hope The Loud House video on Nick-o-Rama S2 will be more than 30 minutes. This cartoon's backstory is really loud and interesting compared the others
It's over hyped because it's the first good show they've had in years that Nicelodeon has let survive past the end of season 1 so it seems good by comparison
powerstar 2028 Regardless, it says more about Nickelodeon’s lousy priorities with giving their cartoons a chance to do well. Even their notorious cartoons like Fanboy & ChumChum, Planet Sheen, and Breadwinners only lasted 2 seasons max.
@@shawnshock8651 How? It's just a slightly above average show that came out on a normal kids network. SpongeBob was carrying Nick just fine as its best show.
I think what made the Loud House a success was perhaps the plot in general. When you take Robot and Monster, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig etc, the plot of those shows is basically “two idiot friends running around doing nonsense” that basically one concept of SpongeBob turned into multiple shows. But the loud house, let me tell you something, when I heard of the plot of “a boy with ten sisters, each with unique personalities”, I knew, and I mean I FUCKING KNEW that if the writers were to play their cards right and enjoy the free range of creativity they would have with a genius plot like that, this show would become a success.
"... if you don't watch anime." Lol, there is rarely THIS many sisters in anime. It's usually one or two, and if it's specifically an incest-harem show, it's five at most, althought more often they are step sisters or cousins. For example, I can think of a 2010s harem show where the MC ends up having at least eight kids on the way later on, out of which "only" three are a product of incest (two with his cousins and one with his aunt).
The Loud House is the best series Nick has now. The only things in the show I don’t like are the April fools episodes and the fact they keep changing Lincoln and Clides voice actors. The characters should be allowed to age with the audience. Granted to kept Grant Palmer so I think they try to keep the actors as long as possible. But it’s saying something when you count the pilot Lincoln has gone through 4 actors and is going on his fifth soon
I’m gonna be honest. I’m not a fan of this show. I probably was at first but then I quickly lost interest in it. You could say that has to do with the bad episodes. I am glad it’s doing good for Nick tho and that many enjoy it. Good review
Ronnie-anne has changed she's no longer a bully and is starting to act nicer to Lincoln and doesn't even call him lame-O anymore I think the biggest thing the show needs to do is have Ronnie-Anne actually apologize to Lincoln for what she did to him in the past and admit she was wrong to treat him that way I myself am a RonnieColn shipper so I do want to see there relationship succeed.
I agree with you but I have to imply that they are not in a relationship. They are just friends. Have you seen the Casagrande episode where Lincoln came to visit Ronnie Anne and Ronnie Anne made it clear thousands of times that she only prefer Lincoln as her friend.
@@raven3067 Ronnie Anne is sending mix messages because if she didnt want her and Lincoln to be a couple then why did she act like a loving bully towards him plus really what makes Lincoln and Ronnie any different then Danny and Sam ?
Honestly the recent seasons were predictable. The episode might be about one of the siblings getting something that makes them embarrassed, then they hide it, then they realize that the person they’re hiding from doesn’t care, but I am exited for season 5 because i heard that the characters will become one year older
The thing about _The Loud House_ is that it's much like Nicholas Cage, in that it doesn't really do middle ground. It's episodes either do really well or they shit a hole straight through the bed.
I got an April Fools joke for the pun one. "You're goin' to military school!" The joke is that it's not a joke, like the first episode of Freeman's Mind 2.
At least the trailers look promising, and let’s all just hope that it stays TRUE to the original source material, unlike the fairly odd parents live action trilogy.
2:40-At least Lola got very better in Season 4 when she lost her devious and scheming ways and spoiled and selfish nature and become more acquainted and respectful towards the people around her, including the Louds
Yep...this is the one right here. I agree with a lot of the points made in this video. There's a lot of episodes to dislike and some of the characters can be one-note at some points; however, it can be really touching and clever when it tries to be. Even with it's downsides, me and the rest of my family can't help but adore this show.
This episode is really well edited. We got some of the scenes MrEnter talks about to understand the context of them, of which some are only visually represented, and when he talks about a character, we see them. For me, since I never saw this show, it was useful to understand which character of these many he means, so it's nice to see that. Great job on the editor for putting this episode together and I'm looking forward to the next one.
An interesting idea for a spin-off would be Loud Houses, moving the characters forward five years or something and exploring where they are five years on. Lincoln’s in high school and has a new set of priorities, Lori, Leni and Luna are at college or other post-school options (Luna travelling around in a band is a logical next step for her) with Lynn looking at an athletic scholarship or something. Lily would be old enough to actually have a personality, significantly improving on the character as an infant (as long as it’s nothing like Lily from Modern Family). With three of the kids gone, seeing how they and the rest of the family deal with the changed dynamic, as well as the changed room assignments since there’s one room and one bed freed up. Lily would be a blank slate for characterising, and the other characters would be in different enough situations to tell apart from the original show.
A nice, fair review of one of the better new age Nicktoons as well as one of my personal faves of the decade (if you couldn't already tell). Yeah, with a sizable family of 11 kids as the main cast, some of the Louds often get more development than others, my faves being Leni, Lynn, Luna and Lucy, while the rest of the supporting cast is... kind of a mixed bag! Clyde, for example, is a character I'm mixed on. On one hand, he's a supportive best friend willing to help Lincoln out in a pinch. On the other hand, his crush on Lori, to the point where he faints and nosebleeds at the sight of her, got kinda annoying early on (Thankfully, in the later seasons they stopped doing that). Also, Ronnie Anne's introduction wasn't the best, but she got more likable later on. The episode plots themselves can be hit-or-miss (more hits imo tho), some pull of their premises pretty well (Undie Pressure, Butterfly Effect) while others fall kinda flat (Study Muffin, One of the Boys). So yeah, the show is undeniably flawed, but it has a surprising amount of heart when it really tries with its characters and it doesn't matter if a plot is cliched if its execution is really good and Loud House manages to pull it off more than it doesn't, with some amusing and sometimes even touching character pairings. So, all things considered, Loud House is a pretty solid show and, like I said, one of the favourite cartoons to come from the 2010's and I'm glad it matched up to a certain sponge in terms of popularity! Let's see if the spin-off can keep up the same momentum!
I don't know how everyone likes this show??? Like watching even one episode makes me really really angry?? The only actual constructed reason I seem to have is that I seem to see the neglect and abuse that the fans say Lincoln gets in the worst episodes in ALL of the episodes?? Like I always just want to adopt Lincoln and give him a better life. Basically, I almost instinctively hate the show, and I admit it's weird, but I always get too angry on the subject to really make any true criticisms, or at least, not without screaming them at the TV.
Plus that do that lame Trope where Lincoln spends a night alone or something and the next morning he goes back home because he realises his annoying family is amazing. It's such BS.
I agree, as someone who was a bully in Elementary School (but fortunately, only for a little while) "If a girl harasses a boy, that means she likes him" is a total bologna saying. People can have strange ways of expressing their admiration for someone else, but any form of harassment should never be one of those strange ways. Maybe leaving gifts like flowers and chocolate with no from tag but not that! Absolutely not. I wouldn't be caught dead writing a lesson like that. Now, as for the show itself, I did enjoy watching it in the first season, especially for the style. I used to love reading comics in the Sunday paper whenever it came, and Calvin and Hobbes was a huge hit at the aforementioned school. I still remember outrunning the boys just to borrow one of the books from the library whenever our class went! It reminds me of both those times. I think it handles the slice of life genre well.
I hear some Loud Vaporwave at the end. While I do think Ronnie has mellowed out significantly lately, I don’t blame you for being turned off by her introduction. There is one bad episode that has people split and that would be No Such Luck, which had to exist at a time of Elsagate and Chris Savino being ousted as a creep.
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 I heard that the casagrandes' episode the horror scope had heavy implications of the ronniecoln ship and some tiny steps to lincoln and ronnie anne getting better with their connection to one another.
I've heard lots of good things from The Loud House, and yet when I tried to get into the very first episode... it just didn't jive with me because I've seen this done before on a smaller scale and with less... chaos for lack of a better term. It does has it's problems with from what I've seen from your review clips, and my modern tastes don't really help matters much. I was obsessed with this show back in 2016 through 2017. The first episodes that I watched was Driving Miss Hazy and No Guts No Glori. It became popular back in 2016. It was the best moments of my life.
I...never liked the Loud House honestly, At best the Episodes were PAINFULLY Safe for a kids Market, and at worst....Well you described it best. I really...don't get why this is popular, At all. Doesn't help that Nick overplays it. Its like MLP in a way, Super Popular cause the past couple years were full of Garbage Ugly Cartoons, But at least MLP was good and taught actually decent Morales.
Same. Compared to older nicktoon shows around that time, it's the best show ever but if you put it up against other shows of higher quality, it falls flat. Like the nicest thing I can call it is decent but there's too many bad episodes.
The lesson that people picking on you means they like you really bothers me. A boy in my writing class yelled at me all the time and threw notebooks at me. I told a teacher about this and she said that maybe he liked me.
Not gonna lie, I've never really gotten into this show.... mostly due to the fandom that worships it and draw very not okay things. Not blaming Enter here, that just happens when you have alot of female characters.
Wow, a cartoon has bad and creepy fanart on the internet. Real news right there. That applies to literally everything. If you let that ruin the show for you, that's just your own fault.
well honestly that just happens with characters in general and its ya can't really do anything about it because they like the character and even though the character would be a rather unsavory addition to such art radically changing the character to appease people isn't likely because they like the character as they are presented. sometimes how people choose to engage with an IP affects how others engage with it. i for one didn't really care much for MLP but when the fan art blog boom started i was all about those 'Gurren Lagann' references
To me personally, these are the: Best episodes: - Undie Pressure - Butterfly Effect - A Fair to Remember - A Tattler's Tale - One Flu Over the Loud House - The Old and the Restless - Fed Up - Pulp Friction - Fool's Paradise Worst episodes: - Two Boys and a Baby - Come Sale Away - Brawl in the Family - Vantastic Voyage - Pets Peeved - Lynner Takes All (worst episode of the show to me, and showcases why Lynn Jr. is to me as Luan is to MrEnter) - No Laughing Matter - The Crying Dame - Ruthless People - Kings of the Con
i'll go ahead and say i actually liked brawl in the family. maybe it's because of how relatable it was to my childhood idk but it certainly isn't my least favorite episode. that would have to be the lincon is unlucky episode where his parents literally kick him out of the house because of superstition. the loud house sometimes has a problem deciding how realistic it wants to be and that's probably one of the worst examples.
Here are my picks for some of the show's worst episodes from Five to One (one being the highest.) 5. Garage Banned: Not a terrible episode but having Lincoln be the emotional whipping post for his sisters due to Lori not being around was both lazy and mean-spirited. 4. One of the Boys: Again, not a reprehensible episode; just one of its grossest and it really shows males in a bad light. 3. Dance, Dance Resolution: Not only were the sisters incredibly mean in this (specifically Luna, Luan, Lynn and Lucy.) But them making the Sadie Hawkins' Dance out to be this "big, important event for girls" was idiotic as all Hell. I doubt women care that much about a silly dance. The only pro I can give the episode is that it introduces Haiku, a Goth like Lucy but one that feels a touch more interesting. 2. Brawl in the Family: I...don't think I need to explain WHY it's on this list, considering that Mr.Enter already explained why it's so bad. But for the No.1 spot, it's an episode that has been dubbed one of the lowest rated episodes of the series (even lower than Kings of the Con.) I'm, of course referring to No Such Luck. Not only was Lynn's behavior unbearably idiotic but the family's actions towards Lincoln have been considered by many to be a form of child abuse. You'd be surprised how many fanfics have been dedicated to either fixing or outright changing the episode completely. Speaking of which; my story, Gal Pals, not only calls out the family on their mistakes in the bad episodes (even Lincoln...to a degree.) But in the Sisters and Parents' cases, they receive some long overdue punishments for them. I as lightly inspired by the Gumball episode The Finale to use this story element
Garage Banned is not the worst but it was shit. That episode completely threw out the fact that lincoln has been capable of fixing or making solutions to his sister's problems in the past so why does he not know what to do here? On top of that why luna and luan even asking for lincoln's help anyway if they don't want him butting in like in brawl in the family, plus luna was never seen as a hostile aggressive type through the show in anyway so I can see why people hated that scene, but that don't mean I support that whole "luna and lincoln are close" bullshit, I just see why people hated it. Also that last scene where lisa want to steal lincoln's kidney after steal another organ of his makes me like lisa less next to lynn jr. What other dark and twisted things do the family do to lincoln? Hell that episode was written by the same guy who wrote The Green House and the loudest yard as well as What Wood Lincoln Do. The writer in question is bob mittenthal, so it explains why the episode is shit. He really seems to enjoy making lincoln very unlikable, but what he's done is nothing in comparison to season 2's two worst episodes and season 4 so far, with king of the cons being the worst from that. Also I read your fanfic Gal Pals and I think it was a very good story. I'm even following your sequel story.
@@AutZentus First of all, thank you for supporting my story. I'm currently working on a chapter for another Loud House story entitled Dungeons, Dragons & Dames. Second of all, I'm one of those people who believe Lincoln and Luna are close; which makes her behavior in Garage Banned all the more inexcusable. Finally, I completely forgot about Lisa's habit in harvesting her family's organs. That would've been perfect to mention during the trial chapters of Gal Pals
@@sadlobster1 No problem. The only time luna was ever aggressive before garage banned was in the butterfly effect but that was dream based episode. We've never really see her be aggressive unless it's when the sisters have a group think/hivemind fight moment. As for lisa's organ harvesting behavior maybe you can updated one of your old gal pal chapters from the trial or have it brought up in the day and life with the gal pals.
@@AutZentus Now that I think about it, there was a scene I wrote in one of the chapters; one that had Lisa hand in a baggie full of flash drives. These contained footage from the hidden cameras Luan had installed (along with any other ones Lisa might've had of her own.) While not mentioned within the chapter, the scene describes the jury seeing a lot of questionable material on the drives; the organ harvesting being such an example. In my sequel fic, I may decide to mention it there; at some point
"If someone bullies you they like you"
Yeah I'm pretty sure this is how abusive relationships originate
Ikr, talk about a god-awful moral...
And I think that's what these shows are kinda going for, generally, but they're doing it wrong usually.
embracing this trope is exactly what went wrong with The Peabody and Sherman Movie
"If a girl harasses a boy, that means she likes him!"
Yeah, let's see how that sounds when you gender flip it. And considering what happened with the show's creator...
What happened?
preston brown got kicked off the show for sexual harassment
huh?
Joel Bissainthe "sexual harassment" is sugar coating what that monster did. He had a history of blacklisting women who wouldn't give him the time of day.
Alec Foisy I find it hypocritical
When a man abused or ruined a woman life we should hate the person and when a woman abused or ruined a man life it’s ok and means love
bulls***
Rugrats also did that plot in the episode "Cradle Attraction."
@MisAnthro Pony this is honestly pretty shocking. I never watched Hey Arnold so I always thought it was impossible to make a Trope like this actually good
Don't 4get Cindy and Jimmy
I remember malcolm in the middle did likewise with reese and a girl from the cheerleading team

The Nicktoon to finally rival Spongebob , something deemed impossible by everyone.
In its prime, Fairly Oddparents actually beat SpongeBob in ratings, and up until maybe the latter part of the Poof era, consistently rivaled SpongeBob.
@Dusk Raccoon seriously? Paw Patrol? Not going to lie that's impressive
SpongeBob's better though.

Thank you, now I imagined the Loud House as an Harem-Anime with Lincoln as the Dense-Protagonist, living with his Adoptive/Sisters from other Parents. (Shudder)
Even adoptive sister harems don't really surpass 2 or 3 girls. Any harem beyond that is just a group of random girls and the childhood friend, who is actually the best girl that the author never ships them with and ticks off the fanbase. (F**k you Love Hina.)

Then everything changed when the loud nation attacked

@@rodrickgoldberg2324 The shrine was meant to be freaky, though. Helga's feelings were real, but she couldn't process them in a healthy way.

That's pretty bad.

@powerstar 2028 So true, unfortunately... Here's hoping this new decade will turn out better
Nick is very cut throat. If a show doesn’t rival the Sponge, it is treated like shit. This is the only show that has managed that.
Agreed, I like the Loud House, too.
That's actually a good take on comparing the April Fools episodes to The Simpsons Treehouse of Terror specials.
I liked all the April fools episodes
They were kinda like a take on the trope of “antagonist tries to screw people over but gets punished in the end for their actions” and they do it very nicely, well not really April fools rules, that one did it weaker then the other 2, but I still found it tolerable
Plus, seeing luan as a crazy antagonist villain was extremely entertaining to watch, it came off as an interesting spin on her character, and it was also satisfying to see her get punished in the end for her actions
I hope my take makes sense
Those April Fools episodes always reminded me of Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry mixed with Home Alone. Especially considering Savino watched Looney Tunes as a kid according to the Loud House Wiki.

If it was an anime, Lincon would be A LOT closer to his sisters, if you know what I mean. And considering that the creator also created Eddie Puss, that probably wouldn't bother him

"The show HAS to end with one of the parents saying 'Let's have another!'"
Also, at least one of the kids has to react to that XD
As I mentioned before, there's apparently a fanfic that did a "gender-flipped version of the family" thing right, though fair warning, it has a lot of supernatural elements (including a Bill Cipher expy) and the reveal that Lincoln's female counterpart, Linka, is actually evil.
No, that's too much. For all we know maybe Lynn Sr had vasectomy and Rita had a tubal ligation. No, what the show needs to end on is with Lincoln finally standing up for himself.

Nah Henry Danger is garbage. The only good live action shows Nick made were Drake and Josh, iCarly, Victorious, and idk about Zoey 101 but a lot of people liked it apparently.
Henry Danger is good because it is really bad.

This is what happens when you have so many sisters.

I'm looking forward to Season 4 and beyond as well!

Wait, why this resembles me Jeremy's sister from Phineas & Ferb?
Am I the only one who thinks Clyde's crush on Lori is kind of creepy? I'm kinda surprised Mr. Enter didn't mention it while talking about Clyde.
I'm with you on that
regarding the "they bullying you because they like you" cliche: I think part of this mentality comes from the way boys and girls are raised so differently, boys especially.
Hooray for societal expectations crushing dreams
@DJHart it's really not indirect teaching so because that implies we did it on purpose
It comes from natural instinct, humans have an incredibly long gestation period and very, very vulnerable offspring compared to quite a lot of the animal kingdom.
The top 5 Loud sisters in my opinion ranked the best
#1 Leni: Who can even bring themselves hate this character? Sure, she can be slow and completely witted, but she makes up for that with her purity and compassion towards others
#2 Luna: Dunno why she's considered Lincoln's guardian in the fandom, but it's very believable considering she's never hesitant to help him out. Those epic songs she sings get stuck dancing in your head, and her love for Sam gives her beating heart a rhythm she can't handle, it's adorable that she tries her best to perform awesomely for her
#3 Lana: She goes great lengths to save and protect animals, and fixes everything that's broke in her sight, especially when it comes to the bond of her siblings.
#4 Lucy: Most of us can feel her pain, not gaining enough attention from others, as well as family, but that never stops her from living her life in the arts and showing us how much love she could ever give, all while being unique
#5 Luan: Even in the darkest of situation she can see the light and still manage to make a joke about everything.

I think it could work if the bully lover is put in her/his place look at Calvin and Susie
Everyone loved talking about this...
Everyone but me because I was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles more than this.
"If someone bullies you, it means that they are really in love with you."
That must mean that all the neo-Nazis on my doorstep actually love me.
Now I know and knowing is half the battle.
See? The German Reich actually did love Jews. And evidently, the government loved them a whole lot...
This video needed to be longer. So much has happened with this show, on and off screen.
As for Luan, she is not the same crappy pun prankster as she was in seasons 1 and 2.
DaLoneAdvocate This video seriously needed to be longer.
I hope The Loud House video on Nick-o-Rama S2 will be more than 30 minutes. This cartoon's backstory is really loud and interesting compared the others
chris savino made this show, you even surprised a "they're mean because they like you" message happened?
@SuperHankinsBros It doesn't
i dunno what the fuck that is and irdc what else he's done i'm makin fun of him HERE not some low quality disney bs
boy I love me some loud house rule 34 lemme tell ya
Lets just say the Loud House is overhyped with just cause.
In my opinion it's not even very good. Characters like Lincoln, Lola, etc. just get sooo annoying, and the plots aren't even that great
@@arthas640 Before that there was Harvey Beaks, that show didn't have a single bad episode. That is not something you can say about The Loud House.
This is the savior of Nickelodeon
To a degree yeah
No
no
spookyisdead like it or not It saved Nickelodeon
Forever my favorite Nicktoon... Aside from maybe Invader Zim.
Yup
To me, Invader Zim beats the Loud House by a large margin.
"... if you don't watch anime."
Lol, there is rarely THIS many sisters in anime.
That's not the point though. Sure there's rarely this many but there are often a lot of chicks when Harem anime are involved
Anime was a mistake
Hey people incest-harem is a genre so that's a thing.
Damn you really exposed yourself here. Yikes
@@Account_Not_Applicable True, and we all know how Enter feels about incest. I don't blame him at all for sticking to cartoons.
/It's the best Nicktoon of all time
I’m gonna be honest. I’m not a fan of this show. I probably was at first but then I quickly lost interest in it. You could say that has to do with the bad episodes. I am glad it’s doing good for Nick tho and that many enjoy it. Good review
i have the same problem with the series. the amount of bad eps the series has makes hard to stay invested since theres more them than good ones.
@@gutsonthemic5261 Yeah same with me. And the fanbase ruined the show for me as well.
This is the only Nicktoon you have reviewed with new episodes coming out. Besides Spongebob.
Yup
Ronnie-anne has changed she's no longer a bully and is starting to act nicer to Lincoln and doesn't even call him lame-O anymore
I think the biggest thing the show needs to do is have Ronnie-Anne actually apologize to Lincoln for what she did to him in the past and admit she was wrong to treat him that way
I myself am a RonnieColn shipper so I do want to see there relationship succeed.
I agree with you but I have to imply that they are not in a relationship. They are just friends. Have you seen the Casagrande episode where Lincoln came to visit Ronnie Anne and Ronnie Anne made it clear thousands of times that she only prefer Lincoln as her friend.
@@raven3067 Well yeah there just friends right now, but the show is heavily implying that eventually there gonna be a in a relationship
@@Werntzy since when? Witch episode confirmed that they are going to be a couple.
@@raven3067 Ronnie Anne is sending mix messages because if she didnt want her and Lincoln to be a couple then why did she act like a loving bully towards him plus really what makes Lincoln and Ronnie any different then Danny and Sam ?
@@NicholasRSims to me Ronnie and Lincoln don't go well together. They are better off as just friends.
i used to be a big fan of this show but after watching season 3 of that show i lost that interest
@Trash Queen and King it just gets worse as the show goes on. I'm genuinely shocked that Mr Enter likes this show but hates El Tigre
I can agree to an extent. There is some good episodes, but the others are awful or boring.Btw my least favorite episode was the special Cooked
It does fizzle out when you realize that it's way too formulaic and doesn't try anything new.
Honestly the recent seasons were predictable. The episode might be about one of the siblings getting something that makes them embarrassed, then they hide it, then they realize that the person they’re hiding from doesn’t care, but I am exited for season 5 because i heard that the characters will become one year older
The Loud House Season 3 tried to spice things up a little bit with having Lincoln Loud be completely absent in some episodes.
I have to say, when written in character, Lynn and Lisa are my two favorites.
The thing about _The Loud House_ is that it's much like Nicholas Cage, in that it doesn't really do middle ground. It's episodes either do really well or they shit a hole straight through the bed.
I got an April Fools joke for the pun one.
"You're goin' to military school!"
The joke is that it's not a joke, like the first episode of Freeman's Mind 2.
And just like Fairly Oddparents, this show is now getting a LIVE ACTION adaptation. Well, at least this premise works in live action.
Yup
This episode is really well edited. We got some of the scenes MrEnter talks about to understand the context of them, of which some are only visually represented, and when he talks about a character, we see them. For me, since I never saw this show, it was useful to understand which character of these many he means, so it's nice to see that. Great job on the editor for putting this episode together and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Best Episode: Roughin' it
Worst Episode: No Such Luck
I agree that No Such Luck is the worst episode of the show, without a doubt...
M S
No contest
Fun fact: the only nicktoons so far that teach 100 half hours are
Spongebob
The Loud House
The Fairly Oddparents
Rugrats
TMNT (2012)
Hey Arnold
Ronnie Ann, you let me down. Same with Abuela and Lori. Abuse is NEVER OKAY 👎.
She is less abusive than Sam P
Hey, I love Brawl in the Family!
Were you expecting the Loud House episode? Too bad, Waluigi time!
I don't like it either. For me, the humor was too childish for me. I just don't like gross out at all unless done right and here, it's not done right.
To me it feels like the good episodes are completely overshadowed by the bad ones. Because the bad ones from what I have seen are really bad.
I don't care for this show but I will always respect it for being able to survive on Nickelodeon.
Ronnie Anne has improved greatly.
Bridget Grant
Agreed. And despite her intro, I happily ship Lincoln with her.
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 I heard that the casagrandes' episode the horror scope had heavy implications of the ronniecoln ship and some tiny steps to lincoln and ronnie anne getting better with their connection to one another.
7:02 "...including the infant, Lily"
Lily was not in that episode though
I've heard lots of good things from The Loud House, and yet when I tried to get into the very first episode... it just didn't jive with me because I've seen this done before on a smaller scale and with less... chaos for lack of a better term. It does has it's problems with from what I've seen from your review clips, and my modern tastes don't really help matters much. I'll probably give this Nicktoon a second chance like with Legend of Awesomeness, but from a different perspective the next time around.

And the MLP fandom became truly large enough to be rather self-sustaining with community content.
@
Mr. Meloetta Lucky you, don't ever dig even deeper into the fandom and the NSFW is just... you wouldn't want to know
You ever see The Loud House fan art on DeviantArt? Even if it's by accident you'll regret having eyeballs afterwards.
Ehh... the NSFW art is just a thing that's going to happen.
To me personally, these are the:
Best episodes:
- Undie Pressure
- Butterfly Effect
- A Fair to Remember
- A Tattler's Tale
- One Flu Over the Loud House
- The Old and the Restless
- Fed Up
- Pulp Friction
- Fool's Paradise
Worst episodes:
- Two Boys and a Baby
- Come Sale Away
- Brawl in the Family
- Vantastic Voyage
- Pets Peeved
- Lynner Takes All (worst episode of the show to me, and showcases why Lynn Jr. is to me as Luan is to MrEnter)
- No Laughing Matter
- The Crying Dame
- Ruthless People
- Kings of the Con
No such luck is literally 11 minutes of child neglect/abuse
@@nightmarefreddy4982 True, it was a god-awful episode...
To me, “Kings of the Con” isn’t the _worst,_ but honestly, I wouldn’t watch it again. It’s a little boring imo.
Basically, this show is like Russian roulette. Your either in for a really good time, or a really bad time.
To an extent, I hate the trope "befriend the bully b/c his/her life =Hell."
P. s I love Lucy Loud!
i'll go ahead and say i actually liked brawl in the family. maybe it's because of how relatable it was to my childhood idk but it certainly isn't my least favorite episode. that would have to be the lincon is unlucky episode where his parents literally kick him out of the house because of superstition. the loud house sometimes has a problem deciding how realistic it wants to be and that's probably one of the worst examples.
I’ve always hated the “if they bully you they like you.” Crap. It’s a bad lesson to teach kids
Agreed...
Here are my picks for some of the show's worst episodes from Five to One (one being the highest.)
These contained footage from the hidden cameras Luan had installed (along with any other ones Lisa might've had of her own.)
While not mentioned within the chapter, the scene describes the jury seeing a lot of questionable material on the drives; the organ harvesting being such an example.
In my sequel fic, I may decide to mention it there; at some point
