Jerry, I can't click fast enough when I see a new video from you. This was great, I grew up watching all these moms and I'm now 70. Still watching some of their shows! Thanks Jerry its a wonderful video.
Congratulations Jerry!! what a great selection of TV Mom's: I remember each and everyone of them. Who can forget Ricky Nelson we were all in love with him. June Clever so lovely, Donna Reed had a beautiful smile. Loved the Brady Bunch. They brought us so much clean wholesome joy and laughter. Rest in Peace. I am delighted Shirley Jones is among us, she is beautiful and I remember her in Oklahoma and South Pacific too. Great work Jerry you never let us down. Happy New Year. Elizabeth C.
I remember all of those sitcom’s and all of the leading ladies and this was such a well put together collage for us black and white TV beginners. Thank you Mr. Skinner once again you knocked it out of the park👍🏻
Another knock out documentary Jerry. I was born in 1937 and grew up with all these Ladies and TV shows. This certainly brought back many memories for me. Thank you again for all you do for us. You are the best, and your voice sounds so familiar every time I hear you. Please keep em coming my friend. Augie and Jill Blase. Winter Springs, Florida🤠
Thank you Mr. Skinner, that was well done. Little Shirley Partridge is the only "mom" left on from those early years where moms meant something! She's 87 now, still going strong despite the pestilence COVID! Sad about Ms. Crowe, I heard that and was shocked. And David too. He had a really rough life when he was older and had to play a 17 yrs old when he was already in his 20's. He never got over that image.
Back then being cool was so important, way more than it is today. David thought Keith was a goof. He didn't realize that he was way too cute to be considered a goof no matter what he did or said or wore. David didn't know how much he'd be loved for Keith and it's truly a shame because he was fabulous.
Child of the 60’s here. Florence Henderson was my “wish she was my normal mother” but really my favorite TV moms are Yvonne DeCarlo & Carolyn Jones. Awww, those were the days!!!!
WOMEN WERE SO BEAUTIFUL BACK in the DAY. ALL NATURAL, NO BOTOX , NO PLASTIC SURGERY and NO FILLERS. JUST PLAIN NATURAL BEAUTY, I MISS THAT. INCREDIBLE , WHAT the HELL HAPPENED ???
Thank you Mr. Skinner for a trip down memory lane along with the bio info of my "TV moms" I watched as a kid during the 1960's-70's (TV reruns were common back in those days). I've remember watching the family sitcom "evolution" from Ozzie and Harriet Nelson from the 1950's to Married With Children with Al Bundy from the 1980's.
Awesome documentary. I am fascinated at how well you read, such a soothing voice and amazing ability to describe the details to take us back in time. Thanks for the trip back to the days of early, great TV.
Great video! I remember watching the Brady Bunch and the Partridge family as a kid when they were new. The others were watched thanks to re-runs. This video was very enjoyable.
June was not the only one that wore high heels, my Mother did to, somewhat common in the 50s. Always dressed like she was ready to go some where doing her house work.
Lucky you. My mom wore old lady farm shoes with white ankle socks and didn't' shave her legs enough. And way too often she had curlers in her hair. Growing up was humiliating among other things.
With all your documentaries, I have a full range of emotions. I smile, I cry, I laugh, I ENJOY! Keep on keepin' on, Mr. Skinner. I look forward to every one of your videos!
I always thought Shirley Jones was the perfect Mom but I also liked Florence Henderson. I never watched the other shows. The other actress I would pick for a mom would be Mrs Cunningham. Her and Mr C just seemed like the sweetest parents.
Thank you so much Jerry for putting this video together I grew up with a Brady Bunch and the Partridge family still watch it on Pluto TV or Crackle TV. Best childhood ever in the 70s
Great video! I remember all of these well except for Harriet Nelson. I wasn’t very old when that was on. I was saying something one time to my Dad when my son was little how much he loved watching the Brady Bunch reruns and Daddy commented how much I had loved that show as a teen.
Dammit, Jerry. I am old enough to remember Ozzie and Harriet. Also old enough to remember when television showed re-runs and stuff that was worth watching.
I have watch server of your programs in the hallway state you do an excellent job in documentary each person that you talk about in great detail I enjoy them and I hope you keep it up for several more years to come
Hi Jerry. I have an anecdote to relay. In 1987 I was working at La Guardia airport’s Eastern Airlines Shuttle. While I was collecting the tickets for the 10 am flight to DCA I noticed Shirley in line to board. I was pregnant at the time and she gave me a big smile and said to me. You are having a girl. I thanked her and wished her a pleasant and safe flight. She was right. I did have a baby girl. Shirley is such a beautiful lady. ❤️🕊🌹💎
I know it’s not in this time frame but my favorite tv mom will always be Roseanne. But I grew up with reruns of The Brady’s and The Partridge Family...... David Cassidy was my first little girl crush lol
Shirley Jones and my mother (83yrs) are 2 peas in a pod. My friends called her June cleaver in the late 60’s through the 70’s I guess because of syndicated reruns.
after years of therapy, depression, Mommy issues. Donna reed is my real mom. now i get it. i forgive you mom and dad. they aren't my real parents after all. what a weight off the soul of this 74 year old sinner. tanks Jerry.
shirley jones still lives... you should do the mom from Hazel (Whitney Blake), as well as Elizabeth Montgomery, Caroline Jones, Yvonne De Carlo, and June Lockhart. 😁
Supposedly,Henderson is in Al Yakovich *Amish Paradice* . Jones said in her autobiography that runaway kids, mainly girls, would show up at her door to be a part of the rock n roll family. It broke her heart. She had to make many phone calls to their parents and bought many plane and bus tickets to send them home.
He made her laugh. As you get older that becomes much more important than other things. He didn't look like a freak when they were first married either.

Growing up in the 1950's I watched every single one of these endearing nostalgic shows. Thanks for the memories Jerry!!
I was a kid in the 70s, so except for the Brady Bunch, we had re-runs. Nevertheless, it was a glorious time for America.
Thanks Jerry for another great story. I remember watching all these TV mom's. Nice to finally know all their backstories.
I am amazed how good ol' Jerry was able to acquire the details as well as these crisp and vivid photos for this video.
Jerry, I can't click fast enough when I see a new video from you. This was great, I grew up watching all these moms and I'm now 70. Still watching some of their shows! Thanks Jerry its a wonderful video.
Thank you Marie, they seem apart of our lives. Jerry
Well done Mr. Skinner. Thank you !
I remember watching the partridge family as a kid back in the 70,s and Shirley Jones looks absolutely fabulous today
She really does and still going strong at 87! I loved her and The Partridge Family growing up!
I always wished I had a nice, sane mother, like these women portrayed.
Congratulations Jerry!! what a great selection of TV Mom's: I remember each and everyone of them. Who can forget Ricky Nelson we were all in love with him. Great TV mom's!! My mom always wore a skirt and blouse and Saddle shoes with ankle socks. For heavy cleaning she wore my dad's Navy pants from WW2.
A terrific job there Jerry. I enjoyed it immensely.
I remember all of those sitcom’s and all of the leading ladies and this was such a well put together collage for us black and white TV beginners. Thank you Mr. Skinner once again you knocked it out of the park👍🏻
Thank you Miss Daisy. Jerry

A calm island in a world of confusion and disaster. Thats what you and your videos are. Thank you so much.
Thank you Joe. Jerry

Thanks Mom, ❤
Well done 👏 ✔ 👍
I loved all these programs. Great actresses.
Great memories 👋🙌🙌🙌 watching from Ohio Smitty out
Very well done! Thank you for all the information, I watched most of these Moms, but June Cleaver was my favorite.

Simply the best!
The women of today could learn much from these ladies on and off screen...The media is the N M E of the people as always Thanks Mr.Skinner

@@miss_sunshine25 wow! You were embarrassed of your mom because of her appearance! Was she good to you? Did she cook and clean? Was she nurturing?
Oh I enjoyed this video. Thank you. 💚🙏🏼🇺🇸

Great as always Jerry! Though I was looking for the Waltons mother (sorry I cant think of her name) All the best from the UK.
Michael Learned, who was also the first and only person romanticized and kissed by James Arness in Gunsmoke in only one episode.

3:00 off topic, butt, I liked that Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow have stayed friends for their entire lives. Loyalty means something to me.

One of my favorite moms back in the day was Jane Wyatt of "Father Knows Best."
I'm new to this channel. TV moms is such a good idea for a video. I enjoyed it very much I know I'll be binging!
I know it’s not in this time frame but my favorite tv mom will always be Roseanne. But I grew up with reruns of The Brady’s and The Partridge Family...... David Cassidy was my first little girl crush lol
But your Show is the Best of them all. Mr Skinner 🙂
Donna Reed was a looker!
Born 1950, these moms were more than my mom. They live forever.
Shirley Jones and my mother (83yrs) are 2 peas in a pod. My friends called her June cleaver in the late 60’s through the 70’s I guess because of syndicated reruns.

The most beautiful actress.Donna Reed
TV Moms as American as Apple Pie
I also liked Margret Anderson (Jane Wyatt) from "Father Knows Best". So pretty and kind .
You forgot Peggy Bundy 😂
Never understood Marty Ingels and Shirley. I would see interviews of them and he was always grabbing for the Limelight.
He made her laugh. As you get older that becomes much more important than other things. He didn't look like a freak when they were first married either.
Donna Reed was gorgeous.
💞💞
Donna Reid was an amazing woman.
Not one Black mom represented at that time!
