      @jpecc8314 Exactly! One or my friends just bought an automatic 328i. Everything works for the most part, and it's actually kind of nice for what it is.
      It definitely makes a good base for project cars.

    Most 4 speed automatics in 3rd are like 1:1 gear ratio. The 4th gear is like a 4 1/2 gear of a manual before the torque converter locks up to become like a 5th

    U think the automatic is able to drift in the corners or does it need some extra hp’s for that

      One of my friends just bought an auto 328. It's hopeless on pavement but on dirt it does alright lol.

      @@damondelys5101 Ha, cross shopping an auto e36 with an m235i is interesting. At any rate that is the choice I would make as well.

    You can easily swap these for way, way less than 2k

      We were assuming a zf swap using new oe/oem parts. It can be physically swapped for a lot less if reusing parts or getting used.

      ​@@M-t3ch You can grab a ZF from any 328 / 330 E46, they're much cheaper than ones that came out of E36s and literally identical!
      If you factor in a quality LWFW and clutch, new slave and master cylinders, braided clutch line etc. it can sure get up around 2k.
      Unless you're rebuilding the box but apart from replacing detent pins, they don't really ask for much
      On another note - if you have the time, could you compile a bunch of the best pure intake / exhaust sound shots of the M3 into a massive compilation with no music / intro ?
      Some kind of AMSR-like video!

      @nvl2691 I see what you mean. I just spend like 2 grand in parts for a clutch job, but I did EVERYTHING while in there, including a starter. Most swaps don't need to be that comprehensive.
      For your other comment, do you want a compilation of existing clips? I've thought about doing something like this before, haha.

      @@M-t3ch I share the same mindset. When I pulled off the intake manifold of my E87 130i, I replaced everything too (starter, complete CCV system, all seals, DISA valves etc. since I never want to have any reason to pull it off, ever again!
      A compilation of existing clips would be lovely. As long as you can make it!
