This may sound patronising but pls Stormers don’t feel bad about that one, Brewery Fields is a very tough place to win, it’s literally the feel of old days Welsh rugby (like in the 70s)
Well done to Ospreys but also well done to the URC team. You've clearly listened to complaints about the highlights and these packages are a huge improvement.
Leinster fan here. I remember watching Ireland U20s play Wales U20s about 18 months ago in the 6n and thinking that Dan Edwards would be the next man up at OH for Wales. He was good in that tournament. Looks like that’s how it’s panning out. Very good win against the Stormers.
Someone once said, and I totally agree, that when Stormers leave Cape Town International Airport they decide that instead of the usual adventurous, chaotic, attacking style we love, they need to play a dour, soulless, up and under dominated game to win and just end up losing anyway. Play the game we want to see, the one we see in SA. Even if it doesn't work and we lose, we've already lost all but like 5 games in 3 going on 4 seasons overseas anyways, the results can't be worse. But at least the fans will feel like they're watching their team, this display they put on just feels insulting
What a try from Edwards. I can genuinely see Wales jumping ahead of Scotland and Italy soon and being 2 years away from being ahead of England and France. As awful as times have been for a few years, the player pool coming through will bring good times back
Disappointed, but not too surprised, gonna be a couple weeks till our stars return to the squads, but the second string SA teams are starting to build cohesion, looking forward to this season
The liberty stadium in Swansea is too big (22k capacity) for the number of fans attending matches to build an atmosphere, so we play some matches at the brewery field (around 6-8k). Ospreys are moving to a new stadium in Swansea (st Helen’s) in 2025 which will hold around 8k which will solve all problems.

Yeah I know, Andrew brace hates the Welsh. He was clearly raised in Cardiff but he is seen by world rugby as Irish so he can ref Welsh games. Everytime he refs a Welsh team he is horrifically biased against them, he must have had a rough time growing up in Wales.
@@morgandunn8163 yeah I agree, it sounds petty and conspiratorial but after watching years and years of Andrew brace reffing Welsh sides, my only conclusion is that he sees his school bully in the face of every Welsh player he refs. The officiating was abysmal and it showed that the ref and both linesman were Welsh - how does that happen? Ospreys kept collapsing the scrum and then earning free kicks and penalties from doing so, even an amateur could see Ospreys loosehead pulling down the scrum at every opportunity. Stormers played an awful game but were still the better team but for the officials. Those last 10 minutes were pure match fixing by a Brace and co.
That's a crazy perspective, if anything I would have said the stormers had the rub of the green all game. Andrew brace may have a taff accent but he hates Wales and is always incredibly biased against us when he refs Welsh teams. This game was no different.
Be sure to subscribe for all the latest highlights and URC content 🤝
Osprey's scored some magic trys there tonight and showed serious cajones to go for the BP at the end. Great stuff lads, from Dublin
Highlights are much better than last season. Thank you
I support Stormers, but really happy to see a Welsh team perform like this.. and the atmosphere at that stadium!
Good win for the Ospreys! 2 rounds in and the URC is already impossible to predict! I guess we'll just all have to bow down to our Zebre overlords!
Speak for yourself 😂
Great win and a really good atmosphere, big improvement on playing in the Liberty Stadium where the crowd is totally lost. From a Leinster fan.
Great Win👍from a Leinster Fan💪
I miss the days ospreys and leinster were competetors. Wales will return to form. We will be back

Love this ground.... proper environment..... worth pointing out that SA were playing at the same time though....great win but perspective needed
They were missing 3 players to the South Africa squad

Fantastic win for the ospreys wish I was there 😊
Well done the Sprays. Great result.
Brilliant win well done
Good job Ospreys. You guys are our bogey Welsh team atm.
Lovely stuff, some great things there from Ospreys at Pen Y Bont. Well done from Leinster 🎉
Cracking Ospreys! Great result 💪💪
So happy to see Willemse
A much better atmosphere at this venue for the Ospreys
Yeah I can't wait for the st Helens move next season!
Ospreys finally adding value to URC, very good for competitiveness....
Plenty of other teams add value to the urc as well
Finally adding value? They were in the play offs last year and beat the Stormers away during that season.
Physicality of this game was insane. Keiran Williams was hammering people
Great atmosphere that’s good to see and closer to valleys and more accessible in Bridgend
Da iawn hogia 👍
Good win Ospreys, well done.
Another weekend of quality tries, this season has started really well. Really exciting
This is going to be a long season for the Stormers.
Well done ospreys 👏
How good was that!!!! ❤ this team
Ospreys improving with each season. Need more stability from half back but they're young and getting there
Cracking game !!
Ruhan nel 7s and wp legend
Great win for Ospreys, hopefully the Welsh teams will make some progress this season.
Let’s go! 🙏
Geez, that was pretty shocking from the stormers. Our sides always take a few games to wake up. 🙈
Ospreys were just a lot more clinical
Great attendance
Great win for the boys after the disappointment of last week

Part of being the best rugby playing country in the world is dealing with every team raising their game for you. I'm sure the stormers will be back :)
I was at the match in irl
delighted for Boothy
I hate when these highlight packages show a penalty goal, but don’t show us the penalty being committed.
