I admire how you travel and move to different states and countries by yourself that is amazing I wish I was more like that. ❤
I used to think the same of people who did this … but last year when traveling to India 🇮🇳 I missed my connecting flight home 🇬🇧 and was put up in a hotel in Dubai. I was by myself because my sister caught her connecting flight.
At the hotel alone, I loved it 😊 I had no issues going to have lunch and dinner by myself. It just felt like I could be at home in London doing the same thing.
I was knackered so I didn’t have the energy to venture out of the hotel to explore Dubai. I really wanted to. And was excited to be alone 😊
Actually, thinking about it, I have travelled alone to the Caribbean ✈️ by myself to meet up with family/friends. But I’m yet to go on a single holiday.
I will have no issues now going on a holiday alone. It’s fun 🤩

I spent years waiting on friends to travel and other things and I got sick of waiting and started and never looked back.

Fellow Dallas resident here! So glad you're enjoying the city so far. I know this was some time ago but I hope you've had a change to visit Uptown. I think you might like the area. It is very walkable and has great shops and restaurants. Praying you have a wonderful time here!
I did! Even before I moved, uptown was the only neighborhood I looked for apartments in downtown but I didn't find anything I liked in my budget. I just didn’t film the viewings since I wasn't sure if I was going to live there.
But I much prefer where I am now, I have the best park I can walk to, that was the number one priority.

I have watched your video’s for years and haven’t seen your video’s pop up in a long time. I also live in the Dallas area and I have to tell you it gets extremely hot here, so I’m not sure even light sweats will work in the summer. Also, walking in the summer will be very hard due to the heat and things are far apart unless you want to go to the same places all the time.Also, you were lucky with the food selection. I have found the food to be a hit or miss, mostly a miss. Raising Canes is delicious though! I’m excited you’re here!😊💚

Yes I know it gets beyond hottt here, it’s why I never even thought to visit but I’m surprised by how nice the weather is in the spring. Luckily for me I can walk to a lot of places where I live. I wake up early for my walks and do sunset walks too. When you’re from ny suburbs when there’s barely any options, it makes the food here taste like Michelin star restaurants.

Still working on it. I have to start an exercise routine, which I have never had to do, but I have to do it this point.

Hey Tamica. Thanks for stopping by. Can’t wait to make my way to fort worth. Heard great things. When you live in ny for so long, you’d understand. The cost of living is out of control, the amount of money you pay on rent for a shoe box is insanity. The city has become so unsafe for women. The men are trash 🚮 and it’s a constant struggle if you’re not making close to half a million. Everyone is out of themselves, no real community.
I still love it and wouldn’t trade the years I was there but I wish I’d moved to Texas sooner. I’ll travel when I miss it
Watch that good Texas eating. My late grandmother was from Texas. She loved to cook and loved to eat.

Dallas is gorgeous but I think I visited it at the wrong time last year! It was 107 everyday and I was drained. Other than that, I loved how I felt there. I’d visit again. Looking forward to more of these Dallas chronicles.

It's in the arts district near Klyde Warren Park, close to downtown and uptown. Plenty of amenities, great views and natural light. Good location!

You may have to go through a realtor and make the request for both the sunrise at the front of your apartment and the sunset from the bedrooms.
Having a realtor is not necessary here since all the buildings are an office and staff on site. You tour them by yourself, they just give you codes to open the doors, it's very high tech. It just time you need to make sure to have the right place. Time is the most important thing!

You have t o take your time feel what it is like in those locations. not just the apartments. A great apartment in the wrong location is not good. I would rather a mid apartment in a great location.

Rose, I’m so happy for you. Find a bible believing church so you can fellowship with other Christians. We’re not meant to be Lone Ranger christians. Also, get a bible. That’s how God speaks to you as well. The more you know His word the better it will be for you. It’s great to hear that you’re making Jesus your priority. Good to hear you’re being intentional about your walk with Christ. Prayer is everything.
In due time, right now I am focusing on my personal relationship with the Lord. I spent all my life going to church and had i never had a relationship with him until now. in his timing the Lord will lead me to the right church.

LOL, dang girl… you are up-selling TX like the the governor is paying for your reviews… The further out from the heart of Dallas you will have more space/option…IMO, TX does NOT have a better way of life… You need to educate yourself on how the policies are affecting people of color, which is the category that you fall into. What you are showing on UA-cam is only surface level, but you did say it is the stuff you tend to ignore. NY is the state where you got your start, slow down on the bashing a bit…
