i bought a skein of every color (on sale and had a coupon) and made my first project with it yesterday. I actually really liked it and would love if they came out with more colors.
Thank you for your review. I don't have access to this yarn, but I see it all over social media and FOMO is real 😅 I think it's just a new shiny thing of the moment in the community - I'm not saying it's bad but people's posts about this yarn can make your expectations go up significantly 😅 so a review like yours is very helpful 😁
Right! my insta was going crazy the day it was released so I went and got it that day hahaha I definitely thought it was going to be the best new thing…I like it more than parfait because you can sew with it and purchase it in person … but I think bernat is still my fav!
I purchased 2 of each Posh color...I really love it since the only thing I have crocheted was a couple of blankets with another chunky chenille yarn. This posh I love for my amigurumi patterns. I'm working on a cute girl Dragon using the strawberry shortcake posh yarn and I'm really loving the yarn...I give it a 5-star or 10 pts. whichever is more better...🤣😂 Love your videos...Thanks for sharing.
I agree on the softness. I thought it would be a bit softer, but I still really like using it for things that require sewing. No fuzz and it doesn’t bunch up and get stuck in the stitches. I got mine when it was on sale plus I had a coupon for pickup so I only paid $5.99 a skein. Well worth it. I like that they have good colors! Weird that you saw a green hue in your white. Mine is super white and the green couldn’t be seen through the camera. I’m glad you were finally able to get and use it. Keep us updated on your thoughts after you have used it more. 👍🏻
yessss I love sewing with it!!!! That’s an awesome deal, I always forget about in store pickup hahaha I also really love being able to feel the yarn and hand select it myself…. I was just looking at the cake on my shelf and it was still green, maybe I’m just crazy hahaha I ended up getting gray and black to make more cats so I will keep you updated!
i made 5 huge turtles with this yarn and i had no squeaking, maybe its ur tension, i love that yarn. no issues with frogging either and this sheds less than the other brands.maybeur being a little harsh?
interesting, I really just based my review on making the one cat, I did end up buying the gray and black but I haven’t gotten around to using them yet! I’ll keep you updated if I change my mind!
I’m a beginner and I’m using this yarn for my first project. I love it and it’s good to use. I use a 6 mm hook. It does say 8 but it was too difficult for me. I want every single color in this yarn 😁
I have made a few things with this yarn and I love it. I have been a Parfait Chunky girl and still love it, of course. The Posh yarn is great. Ii want them to do many more colors. No, it is not as soft, but when using the same hook size I didn't find any difference in size. Also the stitches were easier to count then parfait. So that is important to me.
I loved your review! My 14 year old daughter wanted to make a sea turtle for her friend and I thought this yarn would be perfect (and it was lol). Like you, she had zero problems with the magic ring AND because it's not super fluffy, she was able to see her stitches way better than if she would have used parfait chunky or sweet snuggles lite. She also had no problems sewing with this yarn either. So, I think this is the PERFECT yarn for a beginner who is looking to try a plush/chenille yarn for their first few projects.
I saw this yarn a few weeks ago in Joann, and I really liked the colors, especially Ube, Strawberry and the light green one. I didn't buy it, but next time I make an amigurumi I may look into it!
I used this yarn. I like it. I definitely need more colora. I wouldn't use 7mm or bigger. I settled on a 6mm because 7mm definitely left holes in between my stitches. I may drop down to a 5mm but that's as low as I'll go. I don't like using hooks smaller than 5mm ha. I didn't have shedding which I love.
I love that you are the shedding police 😂 You are gonna test it and let us KNOW! I found this yarn to be springy like a rubber more than Chenille if that makes sense?
I just found you and i adore your vibe. I have been looking at this yarn, but didn't know if I should get it or not. Do you have a video on how you figure out your pricing? I use a lot of aunt Lydia's lace yarn/crochet thread. I have just been sort of guessing on material cost and I feel like I need real numbers to make sure I'm pricing them right and making the profit I think I am. I heard you talk about weighing yarn and I thought it sounded interesting.
Thank you so much! I don’t have a video about pricing as of now! I do weigh my yarn before and after completing a project to get more accurate material coats. I also weight the entire project after finishing and subtract the yarn weight to get the weight of stuffing I used so I can also make sure I am being compensated for that!

Nice! I went and bought black and gray last week to make more cats haha! What did you make???
@@miss.a.crocheta crab! I plan to make a unicorn and dragon for my nieces next 😊

ooooh that sounds so cute!!! 🐉 🩷
I did end up getting a gray and black skein after this video hahaha
I heard great things about this yarn. I mostly use #4 acrylic but I want to start getting into the chenille and yarns like that
you should definitely give it a try!

I love this yarn, bought 2 skeins of all 15 colors. Use a metal hook and have no drag or noises. Have made several items now and will use this first.
nice! I’ve only used it once haha I plan on making some gray and black cats with it soon!
I love your videos you should do a video with Holly, Auna, or TL Yarn crafts, or at Elise rose crochet.❤❤
omg haha you’re too sweet! maybe one day 😅

yeah an 8mm hook for that yarn is crazy!!
I love the posh yarn. No fuzzy shredding all over my house! I am not buying Parfait Chunky anymore.
yessssssssss

thank you so much! I haven’t even started formatting the pattern/pdf but I’ll probably host the tester call on instagram, I’ll keep you updated!

Yes it would be such a great plush yarn for beginners!!
ALL plush yarns shed to a degree😊
Would you consider Bernat to be a plush yarn? I feel like once in a blue moon it sheds for me hahaha
Fantastic review, I love it ☺☺
Thanks so much! 😊 I got the black and grey after the video to make more cats so we shall see how that goes!!

woah a 6mm with posh!? that’s what I use with bernat blanket hahaha my tension is crazy loose though 🤷♀️
@miss.a.crochet yeah haha my tension is pretty tight. I use a 5mm for parfait chunky.
👀 you dropped something… my jaw
@@miss.a.crochet haha
This cat is super cute! I think you did great with the color changes.
Would you share where you found the pattern?
I have the pattern linked in the video description!
@@miss.a.crochet awesome thanks!

YES!!!! 👮 hahahaha that’s totally what it is like because it feels much sturdier!!
Wow!!! Can you tell me what winder that is?! It’s awesome.
it’s the stanwood needlecraft yarn winder! I have it linked in the video description too!!

@@miss.a.crochet what kind of scale do you use? Something like a mailing scale?
Yes exactly that! It could have been a food scale too but they’re pretty much the same haha
Can you link where you got your yarn cake maker?? I love it? I like it
I have it linked in the video description!
Podrás hacer un tutorial de como hacer el gatito por favor 🙏🏼💕
sadly it’s a paid pattern so I don’t have permission to make a tutorial on the cat as it isn’t my own pattern!
