Understanding the Mass as it is intended is one of the most beautiful gifts Catholics can receive.

Yes Matt Ken and Kenny, you are making an impact with these episodes. It makes me ashamed to admit that as a life long Catholic, i am learning a wholé lot more from you, than i have done in my whole life. I think i have been blessed to remain in the church even when my faith was being tested and flailing, and i felt like i was hanging by a thread, but i never felt convinced to change course and i have been hanging on by the skin of my teeth up until recently when the pandemic hit. I have come to rely on stories like yours and others in the CHN especially, Journey Home, and now your program, to be able to realize what a gem i had all along but often took for granted. I love your animation for the Word ánď your dedication to bring us such detailed and succint discourse of what you have found and why it matters that everybody else get to experience that. It does not hurt that you were in other congregations before now because béing there is what formed you and set you in this direction. You have a rich knowledge of scripture anď are familiar with variety of worship backgrounds that you truly qualify to stand/ sit in your space today to corale the people of God. I envy you all in a good way and hope to be more informed and come to enjoy eventually the fullness of my faith as it seems you do. Thank you for the work you do.

This series helped me a lot. I began listening to the early episodes as a Baptist. Now I am a Catholic. As son, grandson, nephew and cousin of sincere, commited and faithful Baptist Pastors, I came across the teaching of the Church Fathers. As I read them my convictions began to change. My Baptist wife would start crying and become disturbed as I shared my thoughts with her. She wanted us to remain Baptist. I started praying to God and asked for the intercession of all Saints, beginning with Saint Mary. Last October my wife and I were oficially received in the Catholic Church. Now we are both moved and cry as we take part in the Eucharist. We experience Jesus Christ in a more profound way. The fact that we were used to study the Bible made it easier for us to understand the beauty, depth and power of Catholic doctrines. They are deeply rooted in Sacred Scripture.

I love the fact that anywhere I travel I can go to Mass and receive Jesus and it is the same. The same readings. The same Gospel. The same liturgy of the Eucharist that I would be part of no matter where I was that day.

Many Protestants just don't know that the Mass is not equivalent to a Protestant "worship service". Of course, the Mass IS worship, but it is also a sacrifice, a meal, a re-presentation of Calvary, and a conveyance of and for the Real Presence. Big difference.

My only complaint is that these episodes aren't long enough. Thank you for all you do! God bless.

I used to work in Hongkong and if i couldn't attend the English Mass,i had to make do with the Cantonese Mass but there seems to be no problem bec.the order of the Mass is the same wherever i am.
Now i relocated in Thailand and i attend Thai mass.

I would just add, that we are being called out from our daily lives into something both special and sacred. In Medieval times, you went to the biggest, most important and most beautiful building, ALWAYS located in the center of town...the church. It is where God resides 24/7/365, the center of your, spiritual, social, educational, political, creative, artistic and healing life.

Thanks very much brothers, you are also living examples of the unity that all Christians have been praying for especially since Pope John XXIII announced the convocation of Vatican II Jan 25, 1959.

I attend the traditional Latin Mass which is very different, but there are times I attend the ordinary form. Thank you for bringing it to life for me!

Well done guys, I love this journey and that in one sense we are all on this journey to know, love and serve God and you guys are doing a great job. One thing, chaos, it was not there at the beginning, it came in to creation through sin, imho. and so we acknowledge our sins. God bless you all.

My only comment is that I experienced the sacramental presence of Christ while in a Methodist style Eucharist in seminary, so I wonder if God is sacramentally present and operating even if the participants do not know it or (maybe) even believe it.

The Chruch does teach the Lord is not bound by the sacraments so anything possible for the Lord.

Most priests can’t pronounce “grievous” either. Gree-vus, more or less. Two syllables.
