A medicinal plant called Artemisia annua (or sweet wormwood) has been used in China to treat malaria for 2,000 years and is still grown by farmers in Africa. But it's not approved by the World Health Organization and remains banned in a number of countries, including France. Malaria claims almost half a million lives each year and Africa is worst affected. In recent years, the mosquitoes that spread the disease have become increasingly resistant to insecticide.

A very cheap, local, non-toxic therapy against Malaria is a big dent to Big pharma!
Ruth Chi I am sitting in my flat in London with my Artemisia tea. Tastes okay to me. A bit like tonic water. Which interestingly contains quinine - another anti malarial.
Pass out seeds in the community and everyone grow their own medicine
Yes, we do that. Seeds, seedlings and how to prepare the tea is/ are distributed free of charge.
Where do you buy the seeds
@@gilbertokohn6130 where can I buy the seeds in Nigeria
@@Houseoftherisingsun254you can buy on line. google search. go to library and use there computer if you don't have a smart phone❤
I have this herb growing in my backyard, one day I had a terrible bacteria from food poison, my mom gave me this herb and in 15 min the pain was gone.
Interesting. Could you please share the name or its picture?
Thanks
everyone in Africa should have this plant in their garden
It grows in every side of África, but the government banned take it
If you crop a plant of Artemisia, u'll go to prision
With its new success for COVID 19 treatments everyone should
Wow. I planted a small urban homestead garden this year. I planted wormwood which I've never done before, I also have dried herbs of both wormwood and mugwort, an aged wormwood tincture, and even some mugwort under my pillow. Spirit will tell you what you need...listen.
Great documentary, well done, it's all very true. I had malaria in Gambia 3 times and only used the Indian produced artemisia, it was almost instant, your have to take one tablet a day for three days, you have to remember to take the third one because you feel perfect by day two, and I never had any side effects and never had malaria again over the next 10 years... I have not taken pharms for 34 years and I'm 62 and can still play football...
Infact almost each and every drug have some side effect ...so why should ban this herb
AMOL GAWANDE , every drug derives from natural plant that was processed by pharma a million time's .
Because big pharma can't make money off it and it cuts into their business of selling expensive patented drugs.
It is also efficient again Tuberculosis and it's not a joke!
Another word for this plant is MUGWORT and it is very high in magnesium and drinking this in a tea helps increase your magnesium intake naturally. It will help you with cramping of muscles and also used as a relaxing tea for nighttime.
Thanks for the info about mugwort. I didn't realize they were related. Apparently mugwort is artemisia vulgaris, while the other one is artemisia annua, or "sweet wormwood".
Artemisia Annua is not the same artemisia as Mugwort which is another wormwood in same family .
By that logic you may as well drink Daisies.
Mugwort(Artemisia vulgaris) is different to Sweet Wormwood(Artemisia annua) so please be careful what you write.
Used in Japanese food like mochi
Artemesia= Wormwood, used also to make absinthe. Grew it in my garden, for years, am in the USA... super easy to grow btw
oomybeauty there are a few species of Artemesia. For Medica, you want the annua species. Much nicer than the regular wormwood, and effective.
Do you still write it?
Artemisia absinthium is not the same as Artemisia annua.
Different plant, same family
And now vitamin C, vitamin D and Ivermectin!
This channel has over a million subscribers but the video has less than 10k views in 11 months. SMH! People are so distracted by the tsunami of entertainment that the media continuously churns out, it’s almost impossible for the youth to find the truth in this current world.
This technological era will probably be the final downfall of man, but that will also be the precursor for return of the King! He who has an ear, let him hear 🙏
Let there be light when the king comes
Probably a shadow ban.
The presenter starts by referring to the "virus" that causes malaria. Malaria is caused by a parasite, not a virus of a bacateria. If the researchers on the documentary could not even get that right, at the beginning, should one bother with the rest of it?
UA-cam shadow bans quality and truthful content. They hate the truth because it upsets their masters aka Rockefellers and Rothschilds.
So right!
Man, thank you for doing this report. I am from America and this came on the TV while I was in a hotel with my Indonesian wife on the island of Bali.
I’m very thankful that I could find it on UA-cam so that I might show it to other people.
I have noticed that most of the most effective medical plants have been stigmatized or made ill ago like this; plants like coca leaf, Kratom, cannabis, psilocybin, peyote, khat, opium, ephedra(mua hang) and even man made drugs that are unpatentable like lsd, mdma and diacetylmorphine. These things have been so stigmatized and I know I have fallen for many of the lies too but when I do the research it’s clear that greedy people are making the whole planet suffer by lying about unpatentable medicines and by not speaking out against exaggerated claims.
Y’all should look into how coca leaf was banned 6 years after Diamox was starting to be sold. Coca leaf, the best cure mankind has for altitude sickness was banned while a patented altitude sickness drug was starting to be sold, even though coca is widely known to be perfectly safe when used in moderation.
Then khat was banned in America right around the time Adderall was starting to be sold, even though research shows that khat is less addictive then coffee and perfectly safe to use in moderation.
May God bless France 24 to keep telling the truth, may God bless your hearts and hands and that of your families too. Amen
Well said mate. Coca leaf is akin to panacea against many aches and pains and excellent for altitude sickness. The big pharma outlaws herbs because they can’t be patented. Patented drugs make them very rich while making people very sick.
👍
This grows naturally at our forest and around the hills at my village
I need this plant in my garden
Beautiful documentary.. thank you for this...
It just shows that WHO IS CORRUPT...THANK YOU MR.DONALD TRUMP, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN NOW..AND THANK YOU CORONA VIRUS FOR OPENING THIS WONDOW ABOUT GREEED....
I have this on my garden, so easy to grow. It grows wild. Amazing!
I'm in the north of Uganda and drink artemisia tea every day and in 11 years never had malaria. We also distribute seeds and seedlings to our communities. We are using same planting materials for years and would be appreciate if someone could send us SEEDS.
Can I have some seeds?
@@Smerzone sure. Where should we send it?
@@gilbertokohn6130 Hi where are you based? I'm an herbalist, a ugandan, also from the north who resides in the UK. Would love to visit, and learn from you.
My Great Grandmother used to fix this tea for us in Daniel's creek ky... at her 1 room cabin back in the holler.... she called it sweet Annie tea with homemade honey.. We were kids of course but we never got sick in the 60's
This plant in my opinion is so powerful and very effective in curing numerous illnesses that the WHO/pharmaceutical companies fears this plant that they’ve done everything in the power, including an attempted assassination on the life of The President of Madagascar. And that alone should tell you how dangerous it is for the pharmaceutical companies. It would single handedly destroy the pharmaceutical companies in one hit.
And for those people who had the side effects, forgot to mention that, it was an overdose of this herb. Like everything else, you will harm you if you take too much of anything.
Under no circumstances can pharmaceutical company have this kind of information being exposed to the world!!!
I am having so much conflicted feelings because Of the channel that is carrying this information, France has never had any African interest at heart
I just wish there would be common interest by the influential to promote Artemisia and the like, which could save millions of lives worldwide.
Thank you for this video. I understand more now.
Thank you for this very good exposé on issues in the global approach to treatment. God bless you for your work.
I have some seeds plan on planting them!
The COVID? business: Big pharma vs natural medicine
Thank you for producing this.
Important documentary. Thank you for this information!
Powerful and inspiring a must see 👍🏾
So... how / when do you grow, cut, dry and use the herb for use in tea?
Looks like we are living a repeat of this now
Absolutely profound documentary
Why did they say malaria is a virus, that was hella confusing.
Also that's how they get away with not treating people by calling Lyme disease a bacterial infection when in fact it's a parasitic infection
@@bcbro142 Would you say most viruses are in fact viruses?
Yes it’s a parasite not a virus
Very informative, thank you v.much.
Need the seeds.in Zambia
Very informative documentary!
i am going to plant this in my garden
GREAT REPORT - THANK YOU !!!
God Bless These People!
If it's working! Grow it & keep using it!
We can all agree WHO is not for the people in general. Pun intended
Its was also found to be effective again cover 19
Excellent doco that everyone should watch! 🙏
I take it as part of a cancer protical in Woodworm
I had test run today. I've had breast cancer before and took chemo and radiation. It did horrific damage to my body. I'm afraid it may have returned. They want more tests. Can someone advise me how to make the tea and how much to drink? How much of this to a cup of tea do I add and how long do I take it for? Are any breaks needed ? Do I drink it everyday, how much to a cup do I add? I saw a different video said you should take iron with it. I don't know if that's true. Where can I get some seeds? Anyone suggest the best place to order it from? I'm from the U.S. I don't wish to suffer through the usual treatment again .Thank you for your video.
Anne Brown try ebay. I just bought some seeds from eBay coming from Spain.
The plant is great for door wreaths too! Smells sweet.
@@MsSme123 Thank you! I'll look and see what I can find..
One might look for Sage Tea (in boxes of tea bags), and call nurseries for what Silver Sage, Sweet Annie, Wormwood, or Artemisia plants can be purchased to grow in your area. Blessings & healing!🌱
@@susanyoung8104 Thank you!
How are you doing Anne? I know this comment was a year ago but I wanted to ask-
Wow.
I am interested to know what the Chinese did with WHO officilas when they were dealing with Covid-19 in Wuhan?
THANK YOU FRANCE 24
Does it work for leishmaniasis?
Hi, yes it does work for leishmaniosis. I gave artemisia annua tea to a dog that was really sick with the disease. It recovered in 6 days..

It is also called WORMWOOD what does the Bible say about wormwood?
@Aerial Johnson Wormwood to be a purely symbolic representation of the bitterness that will fill the earth during troubled times, noting that the plant for which Wormwood is named, Artemisia absinthium, or Mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris, is a known Biblical metaphor for things that are unpalatably bitter.
“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.”
-Revelation 8:10, 11

there is a different artimisa that is use for different things, if you study different artimisa or consult tcm i think diversing the artimisa cultivation would help more than malaria. is difficult to consult a tcm because of who.
I have a few forms and types of artemisia, but I think you're right about diversifying your cultivations. We have a TCM doctor for years, he cured me of fibromyalgia, lime disease, and chronic fatigue.
