Does anyone know if any of the foreign rulers of Egypt had caused any native Egyptians to leave Egypt in sizable numbers? If so,where did they go?

From what I've studied, that doesn't seem to be the case. Emigration from the Greek speaking world and beyond was the prevalent phenomenon. There were several revolts under the Ptolemies and Romans, however, though never from the whole native population; revolts tended to materialise in the Thebaid region, the most likely place to challenge kingly power from a native perspective.

One reason I asked this question is because I've heard from some people that many ancient Egyptians left Egypt for other parts of Africa because of these invasions. Are there any examples of direct Egyptian culture in other parts of Africa that would have come from these migrating Egyptians?

@@CrowdPleeza No, there was no migration .. this whole narrative is part of the Afrocentrist propaganda to steal Egyptian civilization.

Tried to listen to this lecture, but was defeated by the halting, reluctant, unprepared manner in which it was given. What should have been an electrifying subject was reduced to a painful reminder that Egyptology is made up of people who seem destined to have done something else with their lives, lacking either the passion for a subject fascinating to many or the means of communicating it to an audience.
