I used to hate this design, but as the years have gone by I've come to appreciate it as a variant Prime design. It's not what I would call a conventional Optimus Prime design, but I love the detail and the Knight aesthetic is undeniably cool.
Even though TF1-3 Prime is among my favorite Prime designs of all time, I also love this and already know he'll be more user friendly when it comes to posing, since parts don't need to pop off for a gimmick. Can't wait for ShowZ to get their shipments in!

I don't have the premium 3zero version, I went with the one from Soap Studios to scale with the premium Bumblebee instead. This looks even better sculpted and painted than the Soap Studios.
For a second it looked like Bumblebee was way too big next to Prime, but after watching the ending of Age of Extinction this actually looks pretty spot on

You should review the DNA Design DK35 Upgrade kit for Studio Series 54 2007 Movie Megatron once it comes out and when you do your end of year end of 2022 Studio Series ranking video can u maybe include the Takara Tomy Premium Finish Studio Series figures such as Bayverse SS05 Optimus Prime, 2007 Megatron, 2007 Ratchet, Bumblebee Movie Volkswagen Beetle Bumblebee, Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime ect if that's possible for you
The fact unique toys challenger figure shows this design is capable of transforming into a semi truck makes this my all time favorite design for optimus. Just wish this design had a special story to it explained in the movies.

I love Optimus Prime's face design during Age of Extinction and The Last Knight rather than Transformers 1,2 and 3 😁. This premium figure have super cool articulation that i ever seen 🤩! Age of Extinction/The Last Knight Optimus Prime was far my most favorite bayverse Optimus Prime design because this design was far most agile Optimus Prime that i ever seen since i watching Transformers Age of Extinction and The Last Knight movie 🍿🎥☺️. Hopefully Hasbro and Takara Tomy can create Studio series Age of Extinction/The Last Knight Optimus Prime soon 🤗.

Ohhh honestly I’d say this is better. It’s better made and way more manageable scale wise. I know the reissued the big version a few months ago but I don’t think they have plans to do so again
Some of my biggest gripes is that he couldve had more weathering, some of that unpainted plastic is jarring and isnt expected to see in a high end line, and that the shield cant transform to his gun which may i add, other versions have already done

I wish he came with the blaster in which he used to destroy the ksi lab in AOE I also wish the fingers could be articulated and I even think he should be able to transform into his AOE truck form these simple features I think would have made the figure even better.
This is gonna sound crazy but I think because this is specially TLK licensed they can’t create weapons from other movies 🤷🏼♂️ I could be wrong but I think that’s the case
Why it's a shame they don't transform? Believe me, when you have a figure with those materials, sculpt, paint and articulation you really won't give a fuck about transformation gimmick. After all gimmicks are for toys, not even Iron Man Hot Toys have transformation gimmicks with their guns and those were very simple in the movie (like missiles that come off the pulse)
As much as I think the 4-5 Optimus prime looks good, I much prefer the clunky alien looking bayverse Optimus more. But I got a bias to more alien looking aliens. Making the transformers more humanoid like 4-5 is just off-putting to me.
@@chronalexander8893 How strange would it be if I told you there are people that sometimes take their transformable figures and modify them so they can't transform? I'm not trying to make a point, but I'm saying people sometimes risk breaking their transforming toys or even pay money to make their toy do less. Those are still technically Transformers.
Because most of the time Transformers have the limitations of their transformations keeping them from achieving more dynamic poses, and if they CAN do dynamic poses, they end up breaking the sculpt. Also often times they won't ever be as detailed or well painted as a figure such as this.

Both mouth pieces from 1-3 and 4 and 5 were amazing
Threezero so good at making their figures back look sometimes better then the front section like this figure is
I know! When i see photos of this figure with the shield on its back i think to myself "Get that thing off of there your covering up the art".

Optimus is 28ft tall and Bee is 16ft tall. They are out of scale
@@Tyrannosaurus_rex. The scale isn't consistent during the movies. Bumblebee is in fact bigger next to Optimus in the last 2 movies
