i got 90.138 percentile in jee mains and 95% in boards (only pcm). So study hard for your jee and get atleast a nit. College is not that good the placement stats are inflated and there is no coding culture in college and the subjects taught in the college are outdated and useless ( most of them ) The dark reality of placement is you dont need any coding skills or anything . If you are a girl just relax you are getting placement for sure. Now if you are a boy tough luck but still if you have 8.5 > cgpa you will get placement easily and yes just do little bit of dsa and with 8.5+ cgpa you will get placement no one will ask about skill on campus placement.

You might have to wait until spot round, but there is a good chance that you’ll get computer Engineering. At your percentile, I think Thapar is a good option for you. Other option would be Lnmiit (for placements) but you won’t get computers there.
im a TIET student and yes, you will get COE in Patiala branch only,,.. last year , in spot round, we had cutoff of 90 percentile in jee mains for that , you'd do good!

Pls tell ur view,, I am very tensed I got 98.13 in MHTCET I can get COEP Mechanical,but I dropped for JEE and got 94.84 percentile getting VNIT NAGPUR MINING as a general candidate and METALLURGY,CIVIL,CHEMICAL as Gen EWS Candidate mujhe kya lena chahiye,I know best option is coep par mere family ke bade log bol rahe hain agar CET hi karna tha toh JEE ke liye drop kyu liya,I am changing my mind thinking of Becoming an NITian by joining Vnit for which I dreamt and work extremely extremely hard and change my branch agr woh bhi nahi ho paya toh firse mains dunga Bina kisiko bataye aur agr 99 percentile toh clg change ya branch change karlunga kya sahi hai?? ( My heart says take risk join vnit nagpur mining and work hard)

Thoda different hai like mujhe home state quota k vajah se spot round mein mil jaega shayad mining ya metallurgy isi college mein par kya kru nhi smjh rha...
But yes I am a fresher so i am confused ki ye le lu ya iit k liye drop lu?

65K rank tak Nit nagpur mein mining mil jati hai I have searched it's not that bad as we are thinking it's mining branch has 3rd rank all over India and many get placed through this aur apna state quota bhi hai,I am thinking join this aur agr advanced mein kuch hua accha i.e. 22-23k rank tak toh IIPE lelunga ya nit mining hi lelunga

You might have to wait until spot round, but there is a good chance that you’ll get computer Engineering. At your percentile, I think Thapar is a good option for you. Other option would be Lnmiit (for placements) but you won’t get computers there.

im a TIET student and yes, you will get COE in Patiala branch only,,.. last year , in spot round, we had cutoff of 90 percentile in jee mains for that , you'd do good!
