This movie was great and incredibly moving. It is definitely in my top 5 at the moment. And the reason why British actors/actresses are seen more in movies these days is because they do so well at their trade. It's not bullshit. It's good for the business.
There was one part in the movie, I believe when Brendan was talking to his father for the first time, where I heard the accent and was very surprised he could mask it.
Loved this movie :) watched it yesterday & cried like a bitch when Tommy and his dad were in the hotel... Not many movies move me the way this one did..
Edgerton mentions Redbelt, which was hardly marketed at all and went nearly unseen. Meanwhile, Never Back Down made more than ten times as much money at the box office. Redbelt is one of the greatest movies ever made. Like Warrior, it has fighting in it, but is not about fighting. Warrior wasn't promoted at anywhere near the level The Fighter was, but it's a much better movie. The Fighter made seven times as much money at the box office.
I noticed in some other interviews I've seen of Tom Hardy that he's always nervously scratching some part of himself. Maybe he's just an itchy guy, lol
actually, Joel Edgerton (Brendan) is Australian. I didnt know that before seeing this interview, but I could very clearly hear he has an Australian accent, not an English one. but Tom is a proper cockney Londoner, yeah. and english is my second language.
@TheCarlScharnberg In the last seen of the movie when they walk out of the arena holding each other and they passed the line and the scene was cut they broke the silence by saying "let's have a burrito and talk this over" it was their way of joking following a very dramatic scene and they both laughed uncontrollably... So if at the ending you wondered what happened next, well they went and had a burrito, escaping the military police and 5 million dollars richer haha
Warrior was one of the best films i've seen this year. so emotional.
Tom Hardy could do a movie about a plastic bag and I would still watch it, he is just that amazing an actor!
I spent most of the interview just staring at Tom's arms.
Idk why but Tom Hardy kinda scares me in this interview...all I see is Bane
Been in love with Tommy for YEARS!!! You go boy....Leah

Holy lord Tom's voice. It's right up there with Liam Neeson's
Joel Edgerton+Tom Hardy=yumminess
they (actors) mask their accents so well i truly believe their real life accents are what they fake.

Only Tom is British. Joel is Australian.

@Woessner1101 In the scene where Brendan is fighting with his dad infront of his house you could here the aussi accent!

In the movie tom gets all vaselined up GSP says hi.

Some annoying questions from the interviewer here...
Wierd that Tommy is same tough in life as in the movie.
@dsegrist2000 Joel Edgerton is clearly Australian lol Can you not hear him speak ?
what about him? u would do something? :P
Sort of a cross between Conan and Paul Rudd
@MuskratandRatman
Joel Edgerton isn't British though...
I never taught Tommy was bald ...
*They're.* And Joel is Australian.
tom hardy is awsome, if he said BO to the interviewer think he would wet his tighty whitys
why is Tom all twitchy?
I was just thinking: where did they came from to that interview? 'cause they're sitting and itching all the time. Did had time to take a shower?
BO? you mean BOO
